Yooooo is it!!” It was cool immediately recognising your style even its developed and since then and I’ve not seen anything of yours for a few years. I you are well, I was surprised by the nice familiarity of seeing you back on my dash :)

Ahhh, you even remember Remington! That makes my heart happy :D Yesterday I was thinking to myself how cool it was those years back on tumblr, talking with people, sharing interests, being excited about things together. I miss that time. I'm glad my art popping up brought you some of that nice familiarity. With your kind message you brought me some too :) ❤︎ I hope you're great as well ;)

What was a comic/graphic novel/piece of art that inspired you to become an artist when you were young? Or is there a comic/GN from your youth that really resonated with you?

I don't think I can pinpoint one piece of art that made me go: "ah yes, this is why I want to be an artist". I just liked art as a kid in general. As for comics? W.I.T.C.H. has a special place in my heart. The moment I saw it I was in love with the art style. But I was already a teenager, who drew a lot at that point. I still have the episodes I bought. Still love them :)

Havw you ever thought of drawing a graphic novel of the stories you're writing?

Yes. I have an old story that would work only in a form of a graphic novel. It's about a ghost and a gardener (paranormal mystery). I also started drawing one that's about a surfer and a mermaid (a little horror story) but I've never finished it. Idk, maybe someday I'll do something with those stories but at the moment I'm not on the best terms with drawing :)

But project Soulmate that I'm polishing right now and a couple other stories I'm working on are more of "only words" projects. They would be extremely long in a form of a graphic novel I think.

As for my story, it goes through a little rewrite. I removed a subplot and added a different one, which I think will be for the best. I've already sent it once to some publishing houses but with no success. We'll see how it goes with the second round of querying.

(I can't wait to be done with this one though, because I have another story waiting for editing, a different one a few chapters into the first draft and a very enticing idea. sigh xD)

Why do you write? When you sit down to write how does it feel?

I write because I want my stories to take a real shape. I want to see everything and have it in a physical form that I can come back to. And my dream is to share these stories with others who might like them as well.

To me writing is an escape from real world. You cut all the noise and enter a different world. And when I sit down to write it feels like solving a really engaging puzzle. It's difficult but oh so satisfying to fit another piece.

We were summoning spirits for a good hour. – You were there too? – Ambroz raised his eyebrows. – Wouldn't you consider me the Tesser cream? – You can be any sort of dairy product you'd like. I just didn't expect you'd decide to… This is spiritualism. – It's childish games, Ambroz. – I suppose it's much less exciting than expeditions in search of the Ancients, but still, if I didn't know you, I would think you miss some thrill. – He took a look at Zoja's face, studying her reaction, but she only rolled her eyes with mockery. Discovering spiritual mysteries and divine secrets used to be her second nature, but that wonderful curiosity disappeared after one journey.
