Back to see the Blossoming of Spring!
That's my wings
Catching the Metro to the airport. I'm going to miss Portugal.
And Home with Ryanair....
Up early this morning I travelled to the airport with relative ease on Porto’s Metro system. After waiting in line for what seemed eternity I boarded my Ryanair flight. After a very cramped two hour flight, which included free inflight entertainment from the ex-convict sitting next to me, I was finally back on British soil.
After swiftly navigating my way through Stansted Airport, I took the Stansted Express back to London. Upon arriving back in Deptford I was pleasantly greeted by the blossoms in my local neighbourhood.
Portugal has been better than I initially expected. The Sea, Sunshine and Super Bock (Beer) were all greatly welcomed. Portugal is definitely somewhere I would like to visit again, but until then I believe thats its time to explore more of Asia.
This is exactly the reason why I no longer enjoy staying at hostels

Last Day in Portugal
After yet another refreshing breakfast I crossed the Ponte Luis 1 to stroll along the South Bank of the Douro River. After briefly considering a river cruise, I decided that my stomach wasn't quite up to it after bringing last nights dinner and port up in....the port. Instead I took the cable car to the top of the hillside enjoyed the spectacular views. This evening I enjoyed a meal and a few beers on the riverside watching the sun set over the Douro. After all this is my last night in Portugal.
Love it when Americans applaud a backing track whilst the real guitarist is having a smoke, haha 😜
I've come to the conclusion that maybe I am afraid of heights after all
