The way I see it is this: Whenever struggles, or really when any everyday situation happens, you have two options. You can either react negatively and feel shaken, scarred, or hurt and get this... However you react to these things can leave a major mark on your life and these marks are the memories we carry with us that define and shape us our whole life through... Or you can take a deep breath and choose to respond positively. You make a choice what attitude you will respond with (and these attitudes are cultivated by the habits we create by the repetitive things we do and focus on), and think positively (the glass is actually full, it's half full and half empty so two halves make a whole). You choose to stop before you speak and think how your reaction will affect others, not just you. I'm not saying the next time you're in a moment that you'll master this overnight, but I am saying to make a habit of choosing to hold the things that happen in this life lightly, hold onto God and people tightly, and let everyday be a day where you grow a little more into who you're meant to be. :)

Spent the day driving over to the beautiful Hamilton to visit my grandparents :) first long distance road trip all by myself! It's so pretty over there with all the trees putting on the autumn coats and dresses! So many pretty trees and colors.
