Hmmmmm. We could pray for "The double recovery of Job" but not "The trials of Job" But everything is subject to the will of God. God will never lead us temptation. But if it's God's will for our lives, He knows we have the strength to live through it if it is His will. Hope you know that, the body of Christ have not come to the standard of the life of Job in preparing the Church. Although Job didn't live under the grace of the righteousness of Abraham as he lives before him, he was found righteous by God. Job lived very long ago, before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, Job was not from Israel, but from the land of Uz. Job 1 vs 1 He didn't have the Bible or Church life as we have, and good fellowship appeared lacking in his context. He also did not have the whole background of God's dealing with Isreal. The book of Job contains no reference to the laws of laws of Moses or God's mighty works in Isreal's history. Shalom!!!!! *10 Resolutions all believers in Christ must make for Missions in this New Year.* The evidence of God's heart is what all the pages of the scriptures entails. So if truly we diligently study, meditate, read and seek God's mind through the scriptures, then we should not be forcing the body of Christ to be involved and responsible to God in Missions and the Great Commission. Am in this shoe and thanks to God for His grace. Personal aspirations, goals, visions and dreams do stand in the way of going as a frontier Missionary and been a full time Missionary. But all these are temporary because they are seen. Why not heed to God's calling and face that which is eternal which eyes can't see? Everyone will go in different ways but some of us are called to go on full time. There are some lands and people groups that can't be reach except we go and meet them. I see as weird praying to God to open the eyes of his minister's which He had bestowed the Great Commission responsibilities into their hands. I feel saddened when I meet Pastor's saying my Church member's can't be released for Missions. And those who are called the Church as well are lovers of pleasures rather than God because they love to sit in their comfort zones and be shooting hallelujah and receiving weekly blessings. No pastor should determine whether you are to involve in Missions or not because he didn't save, call and anoint you. Is that clear? Diaspora Missions is all around us. When God saw that we are disobedient in your, He sent those who we ought to go and meet to us in our comfort zones and still yet we are adamant in going out to reach them. They are all around us. They take us on bike, render one or two services to them which we pay for and we keep our mouth shut in talking to them about Christ. Let's make friends with them and take them as customers in the mindset of reaching out to them. The prayer requests of the Church for the last 20 to 10 years have been selfishly motivated and inclined. We have been receiving from God and we decided not to give back to God in meeting His heart demands and needs. This is God's word for us all this year: John 20 vs 21: " Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you". Regardless of what and how 2021 will be, God said Peace be with us all but He is sending us to go into all the world and let the world knows about His second coming. The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. Whether we like it or not, more issues and occurrences will happen and occur this year because the end of the age and time is near. The end of the world is gradually coming soon. But, peace is ours in Jesus Christ. Amen Mind you, the peace is for us to propagate the Gospel of the kingdom of God and the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
