Finished thru hiking the Colorado Trail 487.4 miles one month 4 days and one morning. ‪

After spending the last two days in a beautiful cabin on the skirt of Twin Sisters. I am feeling less dizzy and more ready to hike 500 miles in this high altitude land.

In just a few days I will begging my attempt to thru hike and make pictures of this epic trail. 486 miles landing back in NYC right in time for the NY Art Book Fair.

The Colorado Trail is a 486-mile (782 km) long-distance trail running from the mouth of Waterton Canyon southwest of Denver to Durango in Colorado, United States. Its highest point is 13,271-foot (4,045 m) above sea level, and most of the trail is above 10,000-foot (3,000 m). Despite its high elevation, the trail often dips below the alpine timberline to provide refuge from the exposed, storm-prone regions above. Along the way, the trail passes through eight mountain ranges, six National Forests, and six wilderness areas.

3) I am going to be attempting a thru hike of the Colorado Trail (500 miles) Denver to Durango through the Rocky Mountains in just 3 weeks. I will be making work on the trail about the trail, specifically trail symbolism, trail structures, and straight up trail beauty. Can’t wait.
