9 Crucial Tips Written By A Cop. This Might Save Someone's Life.
Attention Whore.
For quiet a few days, I kept on thinking my weak point was love. But just last night I realized that its actually attention. Wanting attention may seem bad, but it really isn't. I used to complain to my friends about how busy everyone is in my household, and how im not so close to my relatives, and how lonely I feel. I used to tell them that they were lucky to have most of their family in the same city, and that they're always doing something or the other.
I knew I was loved, I just didn't feel it as much. To feel loved, one must be wanted to be hung out with. And the fact that I want people to hang out with me more, just shows that I need attention. Because I know they love me. You don't have to be with someone 24/7 to love them.
So thats it. Thats why I feel so bad when sometimes, people feel like they're drifting away. Buts its also hard to ask them to stay. No, its not your ego, its the fact that you know they have a life which involves other people too, and that going over to say hi to others requires them to leave you for a while. Just a few days back, I didn't accept it, but now I kinda do, because now its different, now I have explained to myself what was bothering me.
Im too protected, too spoilt. It felt bad to be left behind, and then I asked not to ever leave me alone again. The truth is, they don't have a choice, they told me its just for a few minutes, but I was too upset to believe it. It felt like they were gone for quiet a long time.
But now, I do accept it. I know they'll be back. And that its just a matter of a few minutes.
So bottom line is, everyone has a weak point, but to expect the people who love you to cope up with it EVERY single time is wrong, and when they don't, don't be disheartened, they're just trying to make you stronger.
