MODERN VERSE !!

mr. takashi shirogane is 27, almost 28. single, lives alone with his 3 cats & 2 dogs in a home left to him by his late grandfather. way too big for just one bachelor & his five furry kids but he somehow manages to keep it all clean & cozy.

he’s been a physics teacher for the past 2 (almost 3) years at the galaxy garrison academy, an affiliate to NASA located in the death valley region of eastern california. he subs as flight & hand-to-hand combat instructors when needed. he’s historically the youngest individual to ever teach at the academy. his students love him. especially popular with new recruits.

had been a graduated officer of the academy before he was involved in a catastrophic incident that nearly cost him his life. came out of a month-long coma with plenty of scars to remind him daily of something that was reported to be his fault (it wasn’t). there’s some emotional baggage there. doesn’t like to talk about it.

he has his prosthetic in this verse but that injury took place in an earlier incident when he was 10 which also resulted in the death of his grandfather. won’t talk about that either.

does an expert job of making it look like he totally has his shit together but he doesn’t (not entirely, anyway).
