Redeemer is the story of the James family whose foundation is built on their devotion to Jesus Christ. The James legacy rests in the hands of two career driven cousins, Xavier and JI; raised in the church, they developed a passion for music at an early age. The patriarch, Pastor Samuel James, is a well-respected pastor in the city of Detroit known for his work with the young men in the community. While Xavier is visiting home from college, he and his father are robbed at gun point. In just a blink of an eye, his father is murdered in cold blood and from that point on the family’s world is rocked. The cousins vow to put all their anger and passion into their music.
