An old interview with Tony and Omar from the Buddyhead website, back in 1999. Easily one of the best insights to a young band, with the mechanics and mentality of putting the music, creativity and art before anything else.
New Tour. Same Faces. Same Energy. Same Band. A Beautiful Legacy, Reawakened. Get together and celebrate the songs.
At The Drive-In reunite for some shows in 2012. http://atdimusic.com/ Follow their twitter for more information.
Oh, to have been the one taking these two photos.
El Gran Orgo EP
Released 18th September 1997, the band have previously stated that the record company that produced this EP ripped them off and that "when you buy El Gran orgo you do not support ATDI, you support DISHONESTY!!"
Needless to say, Download this EP. Besides.... the cover without colour you buy, is terrible looking anyway. It used to come in red.
The lineup for this EP had changed, with Jim being replaced in it. The songs are of a pop-punk type of direction. Listen, burn, download, copy for your friends. Don't buy, ever.
At The Drive-In.

If you haven't heard this album, you should. Jim doesn't use distortion pedals at all in this album, and it shows. Great album.

This EP is well worth a listen. Perhaps not as breathtaking as the former, but definitely something to get excited about back in the day. Plastic Memories [Later - Picket Fence Cartel] (4:14) was added to the CD version later in time as track five.
The gas mask used here, was later used (in singular form) on Jim's guitar strap which he used when touring.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez
Relationship Of Command (live) - Track 09 - Quarantined
~ One of their most enthralling and epic of performances.
Relationship Of Command (live) - Track 02 - Pattern Against User
Relationship Of Command (live) - Track 07 - Enfilade
