When the rain pours out, the thunder roars and the city is dark, I will glorify Him. When the road is rough and tough and my walk is too difficult, I will worship Him. This reminded me of my childhood. One evening, while riding on a bicycle, I asked my aunt, "Sinusundan ba tayo ng buwan?" The usual question from a child. Tonight, I was walking home staring at its beauty. Oh! How beautifully created. But tonight my thoughts wasn't that the moon is going after me, but its Creator, my Creator. The truth, that the Creator of the heavens and the earth is looking after me humbles me and fills my heart with gladness. The beauty of His creation gives me the sense of awe and wonder. But tonight, may my heart be filled with more of that awe and wonder with the majesty of the ultimate Creator. 💖 To conclude the day, my prayer is just like David's prayer... "One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple. I am finding it hard to walk in the journey and not faint during this season of waiting in the Lord. Yet today, I find rest in His Word, as I wrestle and grapple, and take a break from my weary worries and tiredness. The strands of my rope are stressed and losing its strength to the point of fainting, but just like the eagle looking for warm air, in the Lord I will draw the strength to that I need to rise again, to keep on waiting and to rest, that the strands of my rope of hope becomes much stronger again. This beautiful promise gives me hope, comfort and strength. Let us find HOPE IN HIM and continue to TRUST HIM.
