So, Aulic Times is the unofficial name of the fantasy oc universe I've been working on with my friends, especially my amazing partner, since 2022. Most of the characters are based off of "interviews" and roleplays we did with those friends those past years, which have since spiraled into different versions of themselves and plenty of different AUs.
There's different takes on the main timeline, but for simplicity I'll refer to the main MAIN one as the "canon timeline". Personally I've distanced myself from it a bit, focusing on other retellings, so I can't confidently explain it in detail for now.
I'll mostly be posting about the canon timeline, my own take of the main timeline (expanded and jumbled up), HabCom (Habemus Comitem, another retelling, inspired by Interview With The Vampire), and tinier alternate universes like the modern one (doesn't have a name yet...).
The canon timeline spans across many years but mostly focuses on the period between the 17th and 20th century. That's because quite a few of the main characters are immortal! or undead, it's the same.
The 3 main guys everything revolves around are called the Pillars. They're three rulers, each with a secret identity, each with their country and regime, that have allied in the continent the story takes place in. Even if a bit troubled at times (really minimizing it...), the Pillars Alliance still remains the pinnacle of all, the most influential people in the land. It's formed by:
The Grand Duke of Forgus, Zefiro Ruffino (she/he)(her actual name is Zefiro Junior II Hephaestus but shhh), who's undead.
The Dear Count of Rosemarine, Conte Rioncello (he/him), a vampire.
And the Prince of Widra, Venerdì Vinci (any), a ghost.
I like them (I've completely lost my mind for them and the others).
