NYX “haul”
Woo hoo. My first post. This blog exists mostly to help me keep track of the stuff I buy. I’m old. I can’t remember stuff. In any case, here’s my first “haul” as the kids like to say. (Although I’m used to “haul” being used in “haul ass”, but I guess y’all don’t say stuff like that anymore. Remember. I’m old.) In any case, from left to right:

What you’re looking it is only a small part of my first NYX haul. I’d never heard of the line until I started makeup school a few weeks ago. One of the teachers recommended it. As I live in a country with hardly no people of color - Switzerland - I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the vast amount of shades available, so I scooped up a couple of shades for myself (even though I should be thinking of potential clients when building my kit). I’m slightly concerned about the Control Drop foundation in Cappuccino being too light, but it seemed to work in the store.Â
I’m also have a big question mark in my head about both foundations due to the some of the negative reviews on the NYX site. Some mentioned that both foundations “hung on to dry patches.” But I’m willing to give the line a shot.
Let’s see what happens.
