greta hofmann haunts all of us like a ghost like shut. upppppp what do you MEAN she's not coming back? what do you mean that the her that lived between these walls is dead and never coming back? what do you mean there's a slab of stone behind the foundation with her name on it? what?

"in memory of greta hofmann" but she wasn't just an adventurer, wasn't just an irreplaceable researcher. she was also a mentor a friend a sister, does marcus despise isolde? does adler? did semmelweis ever even meet her? do you think marcus loathes people for that?

you're saying the reason that bullet killed her was for the sole reason that she was 1/16th arcanist. only 1/16th. if she had been a little more arcanist, she would have survived. isn't that crazy to think about?

the starting scene, the flashback scene, the climax scene, you can see how greta haunts adler like a ghost. as if she's there. i'm NEVER getting over them, man. greta wanting adler to live a life where he doesnt regret the things he does adler wanting greta to live a life where she isnt at danger's doorstep every moment. adler wanted to open that door and bring greta back. adler's never gonna get to open that door again

the her that lived between those walls is dead, but those walls maybe never existed in the first place... adler will be with her eventually, someday. but not today.

its soooo crazy how u can tell they cherish and love each other through their own ways. those scenes with both of them in their living room, both of them sharing their own views on their pursuits, one of them argues on what they think the other should think / do. at the end of the day they love and respect each other.
