is it crazy to say that i think salem is bitter about how he looks . and despite what he says he actually he views his blackness/weight as the reason he is viewed as unattractive in his spaces instead of the fact that he simply does not fit the beauty standard of what he aims to resemble... ?
it is odd how much attention he devotes to presenting himself as desirable in both his selfies and art of himself . and the dissonance is best observed when you see how he seemingly Never resembled his actual face in his art/portraits . he draws himself like hes having his facial features described to him , rather than someone that actually has a grasp on how they look . the worst part is he fucks that up too

another thing is how he always feminizes his features ? like i think salem truly is gnc irl and his own documented experiences confirm this but its like . slanting the eyes , shrinking the face to be smaller/rounder/look cuter ... its as if hes projecting a falsehood of himself , one that can pass as a conventionally attractive fem black person . shit , you can even include how he draws himself lighter than he is . sure , draw yourself cuter than you are whatever , but in tandem with all his rants about people being "racist" , it jus starts to sound more and more like hes mad about not making the cut for someone considered attractive , despite sharing traits with groups that frequently are considered so .
i notice this when he grandstands and acts like a black sheep for being fat and black , as if that isnt found attractive in MANY spaces , especially queer ones . it almost feels more racist to expect yourself to be grouped in with these people on the basis of sharing fundamental traits rather than for your own individual unique face , but ... thats jus me tho .
now salem being effeminate ≠ woman , and i only compare him to fempassing individuals because he draws himself to most closely resemble them . its jus interesting how he repeatedly aims to frame himself in the manner of conventionally attractive plus sized fem black people despite not looking like that irl . emphasis on CONVENTIONALLY ATTRACTIVE . even More interesting is wis' likes , which include portraits of "conventionally" (again take with a grain of salt cuz one is a fucking cow furry) pretty plus sized fem black people , that also do Not resemble salem .
jus food for thought , this isnt important at all . i feel like i have to always say this because simply pointing out little shit like this is always used to detract from the whole "salem is an abuser thing" despite me having all hes done wrong pinned/tagged as the sole focus (because everything else is salt) . i jus think these small unconscious behaviors of his that can be tracked end up saying a lot abt him/who he surrounds himself with . for example , its one thing if wis jus liked All plus sized fem black individuals regardless of whether or not they fit a conventional beauty standard , but salem constantly warping how he looks in his art sort of suggests otherwise .
