102 Years - Tumblr Short Story

(Can't be assed to actually publish a new story rn on Wattpad, so have a short story that I wanted to do.)

Happy 102nd b-day, Politehnica Timisoara!

It's not the best place to have a birthday party, to be down in the 3rd tier of romanian football, but a birthday is still a birthday. Gifts still flow in, fans still send birthday messages, and the beer case gets emptied out in a day. He's happy.

And as the day goes on, and messages go to him and to others on his phone, he looks out the window in a semi-drunken gaze.

Everything is beautiful. Everything is bright. Everything looks so pristine. The bright greens of the trees, grass, and pitch. The endless stands of white in the stadium. And the purples that surround the window that he looks through to see his home turf.

Even for a bit, all the troubles melt away. All the stresses of everyday life, the grind to get back up to Liga 2, or the social life of a personification that fell out of the spotlight. For now, life is perfect.

Sip.

SR Brasov Story Out - Oct 17th

Ello readers, time to show that yes I am still alive! :D

Jokes aside, Late Night Therapy series' last part (as far as I know unless no new ideas pop up) has been published.

I'll try to do something new for Halloween. If I can't do anything in time, expect a normal story sometime. Hopefully you enjoy this ~2500 word mess of mine.

Right, found this and thought that yall would like it. Also, small rant below, skip if you don't want it.

P.S. (Short rant) - IMO, the fans and ultras kept alive football in Romania. No businessman or politician has had the love, dedication, or desire to keep most teams afloat during the difficult times or after profiting from them (with very few exceptions, if none).

The hometown fans fight to keep the traditions, icons, culture, and club that they so dearly love. Yes, even the small and new clubs (Im looking at you, Voluntari).

And that's what has kept football from going under in this country. I try my best to show that in stories with revived or split clubs.
