I didn’t like Locke & Key. I struggled to get through the season.

Don’t get me wrong... the concept is really great on paper but on the screen is seemed really cringey.

The fact that the adults couldn’t remember anything was a bit ridiculous.

The characters were up and down and all over the place, I couldn’t really figure them out. Bodie was the only consistent character and he is a child! He did have minor changes but they were realistic.

I might try to watch it again but not too sure I’ll change my mind about it.

I’m a bit disappointed because I was excited about this one

This is why I feel like Josie is the stronger of the two (at the moment, yes things can change). Lizzie isn’t strong enough to hold dark magic in her but Josie is strong enough to hold both the dark magic within Lizzie and herself. And yes I know Lizzie is injured and Josie isn’t which is why this isn’t 100% valid. But it is still something to look at.

this is completely random but it was so refreshing to hear Amy say “my period is late” to both Rosa and Jake completely normally instead of *lowered voice so Men don’t hear* “I’m...late....if you....understand...what I’m implying...” *doesn’t mention menstruation at all to her husband*

this is literally the first time I’ve heard the word “period” come out of someone’s mouth on tv without some sort of embarrassment associated with it
