Here's another Hosie AU that just came to me:

So I'm currently watching Me and Thee (Thai BL series, it's so funny--I guess it's technically considered a romcom, also you can watch it all on youtube) and I couldn't help but let my thoughts wander off to Hosie

Hope is obviously Thee, and Josie is obviously Peach in this situation

I think it'll be pretty OOC of Hope to have the same level of delulu as Thee in regards to Josie and Hope's feelings towards her (trust me, it's comically hilarious), but it'd be interesting to incorporate especially since there are some really funny moments. But it'll also be very fun to play up the "rich privilege girl who's also part of the mafia and owns a business making perfume" since it'll be kinda in line with Klaus's whole thing. As for who would be playing Hope's assistant/bodyguard (Mok) and brother (Rome), I was thinking maybe Rafael would be the assistant/bodyguard and Landon as her adopted brother (plus, it'll tie in real well with the Rafael/Landon romance, too).

Now, I feel like I posed this question before already, unless I was asking in regards to the plants, but is it a fanon thing that we all collectively agreed that Josie was into photography? Or, maybe not a whole fan collective agreement but just a small group? I don't know. But anyways, Josie being a freelance photographer is already very fitting. She'd ground Hope in ways that'll bring out her humanity (shout out canon No-Humanity Hope!) and that softer side of Hope too. Also, I think I'll put Lizzie's career role as a project lead/head instead of a graphic designer (like Plub, Peach's younger sister) mainly because I see Lizzie as more of a take-charge leadership role and she'd absolutely kill it with style (that being said, with the Peach and Me trailer already out, I'm going to have to find someone who will be Lizzie's endgame romance--maybe Penelope or Maya 👀).

It'd be fun to see the progression of Hope and Josie's roles as individuals and together as a couple in this world. Balancing out Hope's comical possessiveness and petulant tendencies when it comes to wanting Josie and monopolizing Josie's time and attention, with Josie's careful but warming nature where she goes out of her way to always help people regardless of who they are or what it'll mean for her. And just like, Josie fully trusting Hope and trusting her feelings and allowing herself to fall for Hope. All while Hope is gushing about Josie every five seconds like "look at what Josie got me. Isn't it awesome? It's way better than some snack she got the rest of you as a souvenir. She loves me so much <3 <3 <3 (they're not even together yet at this point lmao)" and Raf just being like "I need a damn raise except I can't because she cut my pay" lol

Also I don't think I've ever written a romcom let alone a comedy (I mean, I guess my photo gallery meme could kinda count?) so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out. Especially, again, with how Hope is canonically with humour; I think most of her humour is dry humour or snarky quips, at least that's how I interpret it, it's been a while since I've watched an episode so I can't remember fully.

Also also, it'd be kinda hilarious if Hope, like in the show, is obsessed with old soap dramas and thinks life is like a soap drama. But also, I don't watch a lot of soap dramas? Either I gotta make up my own in-world soap drama that she's obsessed with or idk

ANYWAY, what all this rambling is supposed to say is that I'm watching a funny romcom Thai BL and it's got me thinking about a Hosie AU lmao

Hope Mikaelson is a doctor marrying the man she thought was the love of her life until she locks eyes with a beautiful florist named Josie Saltzman at her own wedding. What starts as a friendship quickly becomes something neither of them can outrun, even as they both try to do the right thing.

Picturesofyou is back with a fun one-shot inspired by a movie, where Hope’s life changes on her wedding day when she sees her florist, Josie Saltzman.

It’s sweet and a little bit angsty and ends happily, as all romcoms should be. A perfect little summer read 👍

Surprisingly, this is from my Hosie Omegaverse fic, Terra. I don't think I've talked about this fic in like, forever.

I got like these really sweet comments recently on this fic and it kinda spurred a sudden motivation and inspiration to work on this fic, even if it's just for a little bit.

I will admit, it's been fun trying to switch my brain back into writing this fic and reminding myself "oh this is an Omegaverse right I should throw in some things here" lol

Anyways. That's it lol.
