Does the average KÀÀrijĂ€ fan know about the sexual assault allegations against Rammsteinâs singer Till Lindemann? Is this topic known outside of Germany at all? Iâve been wondering this for a while, since Jere is a big fan and has the Rammstein tattoo and I know a portion of his fans are also fans of the band.
I'm sorry if this topic has come up or has been discussed at length before. I'm only a KÀÀrijÀ fan by proxy through Joker Out so I don't know much of what's happening in the fandom. Now KÀÀrijÀ mentions Lindemann in his new song, so I figured I'd ask about the current situation, in case the topic isn't known.
The investigations against Lindemann were dropped by the police, but with how much evidence there is, how many women came forward and honestly, with how ignorantly the whole situation has been handled, in Germany itâs gotten quite controversial to still support the band and especially the singer. There were a lot of protests and a petition to cancel concerts, but afaik it didnât lead to anything. And as I looked up the topic just now I read theyâre going (or planning to go) on tour next year.

Now thereâs a line in KÀÀrijĂ€âs new song Sinkkumies, âIâm in shape like Till Lindemann,â in the first verse about how heâs single and back on the market. The rest of the song goes on about how he can do what he wants and it doesn't matter who he wakes up next to, because he's single now (based on this translation). I donât know how to feel about KÀÀrijĂ€ comparing himself (or this character he sings about) to Till Lindemann, in any way but especially not in a relationship/hookup/intimacy context đ§đŒ
