“From my experience, I’ve learned that the small towns are more interesting than the big cities. Everyone knows your name, your business…all your secrets.” She mused, shrugging her shoulders. “W-What’s so bad about this place, though?” She asked curiously, “I mean…bad’s bad enough, but terrible?” She laughed. She felt like if she was planning on staying here for a while, she had a right to know what was going on. But she had to admit, she might just stay anyway, if Autumn stuck around.

Autumn gave a small nod. "That part is no doubt true." She chuckled. "It's kind of complex.. I mean the people here are.." She trailed off, shrugging her shoulders. Autumn knew eventually she'd have to tell Whitney all about the supernatural creatures of Mystic Falls, but she wasn't sure now was the right time and place for it.

Kol noted the fear in her eyes with pleasant amusement. It’s been long since he’s seen someone so wary of him. “I mean that I can compel her darling. I can control her mind, just as easily as I can control yours. Don’t tell me you didn’t know original vampires can compel other vampires?” A malicious grin set on his lips. The fear she was expelling was only fueling the fire in him, making this game all that much more fun. “Oh she was right, probably the only thing she’s ever been right about.” He replied.  

He chuckled lowly, letting his breath caress her ear. “So about that drink..” Kol’s hold on her loosened but only slightly as he started dragging her towards the Grill. “Either way, I always get what I want.” He looked over his shoulder and winked at her before proceeding on.

Autumn raised an eyebrow, even more curious now. She knew there were many things she probably didn't know about the supernatural creatures of this world, but she figured Autumn, her oh so helpful doppelgänger would share such an important fact. "No -No I didn't know that you could." Her voice trembled slightly. The mixture of emotions she was feeling as of right now were overwhelming; fear, curiosity and, though she'd rather not admit it, admiration. Kol was powerful, one of the originals, and though Autumn was no doubt afraid of him, there was something about all that power at his hands that made her feel even more attracted to him.

As his hold loosened, she continued to hold the breath she barely knew she was holding. Autumn could feel him slowly pulling her in the direction of the Grill. As his warm breath practically stroked her ear, she slowly let the breath she was holding in, out. Autumn nodded softly, agreeing to go with him. Not only because he was forcing her to, but because some distant part of her, wanted to.
