ares and aphrodite because they’re literally my parents
Longtime readers may be aware of how much I relish an excuse to bully a company, so I'm sharing the wealth;
Clothing company Patagonia is currently sueing drag queen Pattie Gonia for "irreparable” harm to their brand.
To be clear; Pattie named herself after the region in South America.
So Pattie is asking people to politely ask Patagonia to drop the lawsuit.
I'm extending the invitation to all of you, because sueing a drag queen for 'infringement' in the current political cultural landscape is vile. Especially a drag queen who has raised millions of dollars for non-profits, uses her platform to raise awareness for climate activism, and fully aligns with Patagonia's apparent climate-conscious mission statement.
They're claiming they're sueing for $1. They're actually asking her to stop using her name, and pay over $1 million in legal fees. They're straight up harassing her.
In contrast, drag queen Jan Sport has a Jansport bag line. It's that easy to just... work with a queen.
Anyway. Be respectful(ish), but feel free to be annoying on Patagnoia's socials, asking them to 'DROP THE LAWSUIT'
I think they have a twitter and tiktok too!
me realizing that the reason i feel the need to be hyperspecific with my wording and phrasing online is because people lack reading comprehension and independent thought and are incapable of recognizing nuance and i don't want a bunch of weird people in my phone trying to argue with me.
Being a celestial witch with a whimsical time zone is hearing about lunar events and seeing that it’s happening in the middle of the day in your timezone
As a Saturn dominant person knowing Saturn is transiting through my 8th house rn brings me a bit of peace. While I might be going through a lot of letting go and renewal, Saturn’s going to make sure I don’t lose myself in the process 🧡
witchy reminder that the concept of starseeds is racist and angel numbers aren't real.
bye!
Homer, Iliad 5. 385 ff (trans. Lattimore) (Greek epic C8th B.C.) "[Zeus speaks :] ‘Many of us who have our homes on Olympos endure things from men, when ourselves we inflict hard pain on each other. Ares had to endure it when strong Ephialtes and Otos, sons of Aloeus, chained him in bonds that were too strong for him, and three months and ten he lay chained in the brazen cauldron; had not Eeriboia, their stepmother, the surpassingly lovely, brought word to Hermes, who stole Ares away out of it, as he was growing faint and the hard bondage was breaking him.’"
Scorpio moon aspecting the Aquarian Pluto is a perfect time to do healing, releasing, and reflection on the emotional burdens and trauma brought to you by society.
As well, perfect time for shadow work to deconstruct internalized harmful beliefs because there are still subconscious things we do as a society that perpetuates harm to the marginalized.
Just because you’re LGBTQ+ doesn’t mean you don’t have internalized homophobia or transphobia, just because you’re disabled doesn’t mean you don’t have internalized ableism, just because you’re an immigrant or a first generation immigrant doesn’t mean you don’t have biases against immigrants, just because you’re indigenous or live in an area highly influenced by indigenous peoples’ cultures doesn’t mean you don’t have anti-indigenous biases, just because you are of that group or feel consciously positive or neutral towards a group doesn’t mean you still don’t have those biases and the skeletons passed down from colonialism.
It’s through letting go and working through generational and societal traumas we can better work as a society and help be safe spaces for others. Facing your shadows isn’t easy but without it you can’t go to the light at all.
ancestor work includes directly confronting the colonizers that have been in your family line more recently than the pre-Christian polytheists, btw
QUIT UPLOADING AI PICTURES OF OUTER SPACE, YOU STUPID FUCKS.
Imagine the “I’m forgetting your face” trend but it being the old ways you viewed the gods. Forgetting the old version of them you first met and how your perception of them has shifted over time.
Maybe it’s because I’m sappy over how much my relationship with Nemesis has changed over the years. Wouldn’t change it for the world but it’s crazy to fathom the way little me used to view her versus when I started worshipping her to when I became her devotee to now. Same with all the members of my team really
Daily reminder that the elements are not humans, so they don’t have or require gender. feel free to use whatever pronouns or language feels meaningful to your practice. You do not have to subscribe to anything that doesn’t resonate with you.
If you work with them and are called to specific ways of addressing them, that’s beautiful. If your religion or belief system or culture personifies them and uses certain pronouns that is beautiful too. There is no one belief on how to reference the elements.
Finally: be mindful of how terms like “Divine Masculine” and “Divine feminine” are used in the space, often being used as stereotypes. While many cultures hold nuanced sacred gender systems, many modern sources reduce the elements into simplistic western gender roles.

Can we stop arguing in the reblogs of a lady Artemis joke post (it’s not that deep)
I love doing spell work on Saturdays or doing craft related things on Saturdays because (maybe it’s the Saturn dominance in my chart) Saturn’s energy I feel always keeps things tangible and real.
I don’t have to worry all that much on out of left field results or results I’m not ready for because Saturn knows me and knows what foundations need to be built before further expansion
Benefits of Astrology Charts within Celestial/Cosmic Witchcraft
While the use of astrological charts isn’t inherently necessary in cosmic and celestial witchcraft, they can be very helpful and give a lot of context within one’s craft.
NOTE!: This is my personal understanding of the use of astrology charts within witchcraft. I implore you to do your own research and come to your own conclusions via said further research and your craft experience.
ᯓ★ Natal Charts
These charts are based on the position of the Sun when you were born. The Sun in our solar system is in charge not only of providing key catalysts in sustaining life on Earth, but also of holding our entire solar system in check. There wouldn’t be any planets within astrology or much of the astrological system as we know it without the Sun. Within traditional astrology, the Sun represents life/vitality, potential, spirit, perception, and the core of one’s identity. The Sun goes through cycles within our sky, shown through the ascendant (rising) and descendant (setting) houses. Demonstrating how just because there are set things within your chart there are still progressions and transformations over time.
The Natal Chart imo is the ultimate cheat code for making your spell work and the intentions of your workings tailored to your energy. It’s a great place also for reflection and unpacking certain mindsets and burdens. If you’re interested in working/worshipping planetary energies it can be a great way of identifying and finding cosmic allies.
Autumn Example: I’ve used my natal chart in shadow work to see my growth as a person and work on issues brought on by certain placements. I’m a Leo Mercury and am currently working with that placement to heal my self-doubt when it comes to problem-solving and analysis, become confident speaking in academic settings, but also in debates or topics I’m passionate about watching my volume, and disconnecting my self-worth from my performance in analytical or academic fields (which as a Virgo rising is HARD). I’ve also used my natal chart to inform my approach to spell work. Let’s say I want to manifest something in the field of career, I tend to look at my 10th house and my Saturnian placements to see how to ensure I’m fit to inhabit that house.
ᯓ☆ Transit Charts
These charts are used to analyze how current astrological events impact the world and you on an energetic level. Through degrees and locations of certain celestial bodies, it can influence different areas of your how things manifest within your day-to-day life. Often providing overall cosmic harmony and lessons in the areas of the natal chart that they might impact.
There are two ways, both valid, in working with transit charts. One way is focusing on the current transit as it is, how current placements of planets are impacting each other and what can be done with that energy (Venus in Taurus, or Jupiter in Cancer as of time posted). Another way is seeing how the transits appear and aspects with your natal chart, like transiting Venus aspecting your natal Mars and what that energy can bring for you.
Autumn Example: I typically use transits to first see if now of all times would be good to do spell work given positions both in transit and in my natal chart. Depending on whether I’m doing a spell to help me externally my focus is on the planets in transit themselves rather than natal, if it’s to help me internally I involve both the natal and transit, and if a mix on intention it depends on a few things.
ᯓ★ Solar Returns/Return Charts
A return is when the celestial body you’re looking at returns to the place it was when you were born. For a solar return typically on your birthday whereas for a lunar return (moon goes back to birth spot) for example it can vary. The purpose of these charts is to give a forecast of the themes that will come up during its new revolution around the sun till the next return.
These are similar to transits in a way given you’re looking at transiting planets in relation to your natal chart, though with returns it’s a bit more personal because of its appearance in the natal chart.
Returns are great for manifesting things since they do serve as astrological birthdays for the celestial objects returning. Not to mention for Solar Returns in particular possible themes of spell work during the span of the year. Also perfect time for doing divination with the planetary energy involved in the return, if you practice astrolatry.
Autumn Example: My 2025 solar return was heavy in Plutonian aspects and placements which has shown in my spell work as I’ve heavily focused on transformative workings. I use returns to manifest for things within the domains of the returning celestial object, like for a Venus return I might work with the transits generally in that time with a focus on Venusian or Leoan (Leo Venus) qualities.
ᯓ☆ Persona Charts
These charts are essentially natal charts but for specific celestial objects within your chart. This can range from planets, houses, asteroids, fixed stars, etc. Persona Charts are often used to get a better look at the true nature of certain placements and in turn a better understanding of you and what you might need in certain areas.
Persona Charts are great for manifesting qualities in the overall placement, it treats it like a person/character with dimension, depth and layers. I could say I want to do a glamour working on being more alluring, but what does that actually mean and what do I want about myself to be perceived as alluring? Persona Charts allow you to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a placement down to its core and make big magical intentions into tangible spell work steps.
Autumn Example: I adore working with persona charts as a creative, one of my favourite things to include in celestial magic. Following the idea of an allure glamour working I’d probably look at asteroid Sirene or planet Venus to better understand the strengths, struggles, and lessons that go with it. Through reflection I might determine what area in the chart corresponds to what I want area I want to be alluring, maybe it’s attracting people in business or in commitments, I might base my working off the Mercury or Venus in the Sirene or Venus persona chart.
ᯓ★ Synastry Charts
Synastry is essentially seeing how your natal chart aspects and interacts with someone else’s. This can show themes of your overall relationship with a person, areas of both connection and disconnect.
In spell work synastry is great for seeing how your energy interacts with someone else’s either in the sense of a conjoined/shared working or you doing a working for somebody else. It can show what your energy can bring to the table to help and how another person’s energy can be impacted by that.
Autumn Example: I use synastry when doing spell work for friends to see the best way I can use my energy to help them. For example, I did a Venusian working for a friend and I analyzed how my energy would influence their Sun, Venus, and Jupiter. Using that analysis I planned my spell work accordingly.
ᯓ☆ Extra Notes/Thoughts
There’s no one chart to rule them all, everyone’s practice is different and every chart can give a different perspective. It’s combining and looking at things from varying perspectives through the charts that not only can elevate your spell work but also lead to a better understanding of yourself and your goals magically.
In the context of astrolatry, it can also be a great way to better understand your relationship with the celestial object you worship and possible ways to work with them on both short and long term scale.
Anyways I hope y'all enjoyed this and found it helpful. Feel free to share your experience and thoughts on charts within spell work, cosmic magic, and celestial magic as a whole.
Thanks for reading this longer post. Make sure to drink some water and have a great day 🧡
There’s something so special about devotee friendships. Because it’s often built with the recognition of what it means to be a devotee, and while there are varying reasons behind devotion, I know what it means to make such a commitment and you do too.
It doesn’t matter if it’s the same or different entity, differing domains or completely different origins and mythos. Regardless of anything devotees understand that even within pagan spaces it’s difficult to share much about devotion without either coming off as a bit preachy or someone who simply worships/works with the being and isn’t devoted to them (cause yes, there’s a difference).
In my experience in devotee friendships it’s not only offering the space to talk and passively sharing the experience, but it’s also actively sharing the experience. From offering readings to help your fellow devotee friends during a slump to connect to their guy(s), to joining in on celebrations even online for like a movie night in honour of the entity’s holiday, to possibly even giving offerings to the entity your friend is devoted to. Not out of a place of personal calling or self interest, but rather, you’re important to my friend and you’ve watched over them and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Which imo I think is a really beautiful perspective to experience with the divine, because it’s fundamentally built on love, care and community .
——
Anyways shout out to my devotee friends and devotees in general, I love y’all and you make the space feel more at home. 🧡
