I have a daily morning practice of reiki, yoga, and spending time in nature. I also reflect on my blessings and thank the universe. This helps me balance and center. As soon as another human opens their mouth, everything goes off balance. Help?
You have created good circumstances for your mind and body. By practicing reiki and yoga, you restore a natural health to the body while cultivating a mind of gratitude. Spending time in nature is also a good practice in many ways, including the manner in which it reveals how being alone doesn’t mean being lonely.
However, as you have noticed, your peace and balance are tied to those circumstances. If those circumstances change, so does the nature of your peace and balance.
There are two approaches I would recommend. The first is taking where you have gone now and going further. It is the discovery of peace that is independent of and unrelated to circumstances. The second approach is comprised of a variety of methods meant to cultivate compassion, forgiveness, and love.
