okey i know it's hard for me to feel excited about finishing chunks of projects ive had in my wip queue for literal years BUT i am VERY happy that people are finally able to read chapter 2 of haunted heartache phantom fame. i have had this story written for so long and have been fighting tooth and nail against my own lack of motivation to draw anything to finish it. it's not the form i originally intended, nor as beautiful as it was in my head, but it's OUT. that scene in the abandoned department store was literally in my first draft in 2020. it's been ready to go for SIX YEARS and I'd never been able to actually get through the chapters needed to get there. anyway. yay. chapter 3 maybe soon we'll see

#anyway im learning a lot about myself during this creative process and i think i only want to be a writer and draw untelated bullshit #for fun my whole life #i truly hate drawing the same thing/working on the same drawing project over and over and over again #making a comic made me hate drawing and i think that's a great thing to learn about myself :3

phantom fame will suddenly turn into a full blown wish fulfillment romance halfway through but then it comes back to an introspective narrative about belonging and loving yourself above all so dont worry if things start getting too sappy
