Chapter one: A Town Called Hometown.

Before You and Your Family lived in HomeTown, You guys actually lived in different area which was in city and somewhat far from Hometown.
You didn’t mind living the city since You get free items from your father’s company and your mother’s business (yes, she does have business but a small one though). By your father, his attention can be bad or can be good, he is very unpredictable at times, he would spend his money on You and Your siblings so You guys can be intellectually better than other kids in school, activities, and talents.
Your dad can be weird about stuff. You know how he can get about you and your siblings NEEDING to be better than other kids.
There are pros and cons of living in the city. The pros are: Number 1, getting out of school then go to cafe get some food and drink to eat. Number 2, getting out of school and go over to your younger siblings’s school to pick them up. Number 3, You and Your siblings can get food together and go to Flim’s best friend’s house to stay at their place when your parents lock you guys out by ‘accident’. Number 4, You are around people who are gifted like you.
The cons are: Number 1, At night, when you try to sleep at night: you can hear cars honking each other out of anger or whatever. Number 2, in the morning, you can hear neighbors fighting/arguing each other over dumb stuff (ex: getting divorced or getting cheated on, etc). Number 3, People catcalled on your older sister since she was nine years old and you were at times since you look like girl, you want to strangle that guy when you were younger (your siblings told you about this story). Number 4, you get into school fights with other nerds over specific topics/things, you wanted to show them that you were right about specific topics. You lived the city for most of your childhood with your older siblings and for your younger siblings lived there for a few years, not much for them.
(This is when you are 8, when u move) Anyway, your father wanted to move out of the city to go to a suburban area since your father’s older brother (or uncle) is in a town called Hometown. The reason your father wanted to move in the town: he can show off that he has better kids, better wife, better job and better house than his older brother.
Nevertheless you and your family started to pack your clothes, items, furniture, etc so y’all don’t leave anything behind since most of your stuff cost expensive as hell. Took a few days to moved to the town since your father wanted to drive there THAN HIRING SOMEONE TO DO THE WORK FOR YOU GUYS- whatever, just waste of time for you guys staying in the car for long time.
To be fair, you didn’t like being around your parents since they were mostly just quiet which might be way worse than them having yelling matches with each other. You guys got to your house which is middle of the forest/woods, you are starting to unpacking your personal possessions as your siblings did the same. It took a few hours to unpack, choose their assign rooms by your father, etc. it took while but nevertheless, you got time leftover to kill. You decided to explore hometown alone since you were bored and your father wanted you out of the house with the twins, Melody and Gadget (at the time, you guys call him gadget btw) since your parents want to talk to your older siblings about something.
You and your siblings are walking around town since the younger ones are curious about their new home. Melody looked excited to be far from the city since the city’s life is quite hard for them to deal with. You and siblings keep working until they both see a group who are sitting or sprawled on the fresh grass as the sun shining down on the them which is the group of four were gathered there without any plans, just having fun with each other?
You can do that? No schedule? No plans that are planned ahead for you?
You can have fun? Well, you know that you can have ‘fun’ but it is so rare for you and your family to just have fun together or have fun on your own. You heard this idea of having fun.
You and your siblings decided to hide behind the trees to watch the group of four were gathered and just chilling, playing, and talking to each other so…
Normally.
It might seem silly to the public eye, yes but to give you credits, when you got out of the womb, you were forced to work at day one (same to your siblings, ofc). So, having fun is foreign concept for you and your siblings. You and your siblings watched the group of four just drawn together by the rare warmth of the afternoon, talking to each other about their days or tell each other stories or just random things to talk about something happened in their lives.
Oh only if you got this luxury like them.
There is a small deer which is called Noelle (which you overheard) just
sat cross-legged next to dark brown dear who comfortably lied down. Then there is other two people, one is a goat and one is a human with red horns.
There is human in this town?
You thought you and your family were only humans in this town but nevertheless, you are intrigued by the human with the red horns. The white goat lounged with his back, as a human leaned quietly against the goat’s side who you assumed they are close since the human is leaning against the goat with content in the closeness.
You and siblings were being…to be blunt being the little stalkers you were.
Being creeps, watching the group of four having fun without knowing you, Melody and gadget were there. Like moths being attracted to light but with the word and visual version of fun.
The human leaned quietly against their brother's side, content in the closeness. The human was content for good 10 minutes until they noticed you and your siblings who are in the sideway watching them creepily in their opinion. You got nervous so you move yourself to hide yourself and you forced your siblings to hide themselves too since it would looked strange for you guys. You and your siblings feel nervous now since you guys can hear some footsteps walking towards you and your siblings.
Gulp.
Your younger brother made a loud ass gulp noise. You are going to strangle your brother for making a noise. Their laughter and joy were contagious that died down because of you and your siblings being stalkers. Nevertheless, the group of four (mostly the oldest ones) found you guys since your younger sister, Melody’s hat is big as hell and you can see it behind the tree. You three got in trouble with them and got scolded for your behavior since it is creepy and somewhat stalker-ish but Asriel looked at you guys then smiled at you and your siblings then let you guys be part of the group since you and siblings are quite new in the town and Noelle patted a seat next to her for you as your siblings sat next you. You learned their names which were Asriel, December, Noelle and Kris then you and your siblings told them, your names.
“I’m Melody and this is my twin brother, Gadget! And this is Dotcom!”
You waved awkwardly as you look at Asriel and December but then looked at Kris and Noelle. You were intrigued by Kris mostly since they are only human in town before you came around! You want to know more about them.
That day felt like forever for you In a good way but you sometimes miss that day since it was simple and you could be yourself in public. You and (sometimes) your siblings join you to spent the afternoon together, and the day after that, and the following days after. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months — You and the group were inseparable. At some time, Dess (which is nickname for her) would teach all of the group how to weave/make a flower crown, her fingers nimble and sure, and so perfect. You looked at her fingers, Dess is so perfect the way she showing others how to make/weave the flower crown and teach others about it. You sometimes wish how to do it but it is surprising hard for you and your siblings to do it (but again, this is hobby not a job). You would remember how you and Kris would giggle childishly whenever your flower crown would fall apart. You were never really good at arts and crafts but would make sense for you since you only do your job and nothing more than that. You had so much fun making them to the point you decided to teach yourself how to properly weave one when you were in your room but you did also teach your siblings how to make the flower crown too! (They had fun making flower crown with you in your room). One day, You and your siblings went to one of their hangout spots (with the group), You and melody, gadget were excited to give the group the flower crowns since they all worked so hard for it especially in secretly from your parents. When they got there, Melody gives Dess and Noelle flower crowns, Gadget gives Asriel flower crown which Asriel loves his flower crown, he gives gadget an affectionate head-pat. You walked up to Kris with flower crown in your hands, you give Kris the flower crown then you smiled shyly at them since you had a small crush on them when you were younger Kris felt themselves heating up by your actions (look at you, you flirter!), Kris looked down at the flower crown in their hand and feeling the flowers up. Kris is looking down at your offering for them then they looked back at you. Kris decided to put it on you and told you:
“It…look better on you than me.”
You feel your face heated up by their words. You noticed the way Kris stared at you with their rose colored eyes. You can tell Kris feel a bit flustered by their own words until their brother starts teasing them about giving you the flower crown and put it on you. Your younger siblings (Melody & Gadget) are rooting for you and Kris to be together just to embarrass you.
Everything was great and joyful for you and your siblings to play and hangout with the group of four! You enjoy hanging with Kris and Noelle (to be fair, they are the same age as you so, you quite match them well). For your older siblings (Film & Mutation), they had fun with Dess and Asriel since they were the same age and they both can similar interests. For your younger siblings, they had fun playing or hanging out with you and Kris, Noelle! The friend group is great together but that all in the past now. After Dess died and Film killing herself (which nobody knows in town except for you and your older brother, your parents of course), and Asriel moved to the college, Noelle spent less with the group because of Noelle’s mother and Noelle is getting busy with grief for her older sister with her family. And not the mention, your family are getting quite popular or well known in town which cause you and your siblings (mostly you) started changing your names to be more normal since your names are unhinged as hell especially to the public eye (which is good move).
However, as time passed the group slowly began to fall apart. This caused you to begin to overthink and feel anxious and dreadful about what the future of your relationship/friendship with Kris and Noelle may look like. But you and Kris talked to each other (if you have the time due to your schedule started getting busy) and made promise to each other of not leave each other.
But sadly, didn’t worked out for you and Kris due to your lack of time for Kris and Noelle (to be fair, she is quite busy too).
It would make you feel bad for Kris since you didn’t follow through with your promise this time around, Reader.
During middle school, you were yourself for while since YOU weren’t quite popular like your older sister, Film or popular as melody due to Melody sing beautifully for the talent show which got her popular and for Film, she got popular for her short, slient film in her school (and out of school since someone according it on their camera). You were yourself for good while until late 6th to early 7th grade, you did full 680 in school since you got popular for your computer skills of giving your computer sentient (you still have the computer in your room btw) so, you got popular for your skills online like your siblings. You forced to get change your hairstyle to pigtails and you had to change your clothing style, you had to change your personality for the public’s eye which you did.
Everyone around you didn’t really care if you changed since they weren’t so close to you so, they didn’t noticed your change of behavior except for your two, close (or used to be close) friends of yours.
Kris and Noelle. When they both saw your changed of behavior.
For Noelle, she is confused about your change of behavior but she didn’t want to say anything about it since you were probably trying to protect yourself from other people since your getting a popular and noticed by others but again, it is her idea or theory that she had since she hasn’t been around since start of middle school so, she doesn’t know you anymore.
For Kris, they were…unsettled by you- well, your new self. Kris knows how strange you are when you get excited talk about marine animals/life (or anything about marine biology), Kris knows or at least, knew how you tap your feet when your annoyed at people who is being slow or just not moving. Kris remembered your habits but yet, you are different from yourself.
Kris doesn’t know you anymore.
Does it bother you? Yes, it does. But you must keep up with your public image.
So, you just ignore the discomfort from your ‘audience’ and keep going.
You keep this role up for the whole of your middle school until you were pulled out of school to be moved to different school- well, homeschool. Your father wanted to use you and milk you dry for all you worth for your skills. Ever since you got pulled out of school, things have changed for you, Kris and Noelle. Kris and Noelle ever saw you at school anymore, well, at least in middle school.
During this time, your mother popped out your little sister which is Intestines “Doctor” Known which is unhinged ass name but again, this is your parents that we are talking about. You were surprised that your parents still making kids but again, you know how your father is. You helped taking care of the baby with your mother, Marcus since your mother can be quite emotionally unstable sometimes so you and your older brother have to take the baby to safety sometimes.
During your homeschool days, life was your own personal hell. Part of this was due to your father. A cruel yet deceptive man, he would use your innocent skin as an ash tray for any small offense. Even though he was brutal towards you, you were desperate to impress him, so you tried, by showing your codes for your computer (the same one that you brought to life) but the man just stared at you with cold glare. But on rare occasions he would get close to hug you and praise you for your skills and efforts for your computer.
Your father confused you.
This man could break you down, destroy everything you loved, and the next day, would love on you like the previous day was for naught.
You would fight with him with your claws or you would bite inside of your cheek to shut up and listen to your father’s rant like you did with your mother’s rants.
One time, he locked you in a closet to make you think about your actions and your behavior.
Another time, he verbally abused you and mentally abused you as you tried to do your job as computer scientist and at the same time, doing robotic engineering.
Or what he would do to you is using you like a human cigarette ashtray.
You have so many cigarette burns on your arms especially on your forearms.
Your father was physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusive.
He broke your mental state, piece by piece during your homeschooling life.
If you’re wondering why your siblings didn’t speak up about your abuse or their abuse, well…they are afraid of your parents (mostly your dad) so they never speak out about it. At least, your father doesn’t homeschool you personally, he bring the highest levels of tutors to teach you about your profession and basic school needs (ex: math, science, English, etc) but on a high academic level so you can be academically gifted and be educated more than your peers.
After a few years of being homeschooled (and Lily growing up pretty well), your parents talked and decides to put you back to school so they wouldn’t look weird, this is mostly for public looks. (During mid high school, this is where your father gone missing and you had new siblings now).
Anyway, you went to your freshmen year to meet your new classmates until you saw them.
Kris and Noelle.
You were going to get close to them to talk to them both but brunch of your classmates started crowded you to talk about your computer coming to ‘alive’ and other things with you since you are rich and popular as hell! But it okay though since you go over to Kris and Noelle’s house for events though, it is okay though! You will talk to them soon.
But there is Susie. You hate her- well, hated her since she bullied you but you did fight back which you guys get in trouble for good 5 times in month.
You didn’t got any chance to talk to Kris or Noelle, hell not even Berdly! But around late freshman to early sophomore, your popularity calmed down finally during high school.
When you try talk to Kris to reset your relationship with them but with your new personality, your new look, your new SELF!
Maybe, Kris would love- I mean like you.
So you try to talk to them which they do talk to you back but they were mostly unsettled by your new self but they want be around you. Even if you’re being fake.
Kris and your’s relationship has changed for the better or for the worse.
Yet, you are still clinging onto them since you feel guilty.
You won’t there when Kris needs you during their parents divorce.
You won’t there when they need someone talk to or need a shower cry on. You feel guilty about it since you USED to so close to them not your not.
You won’t there but you are here now.
And you’re not leaving them behind.
Not again.
Even if they don’t want you there, you are not going to leave them.
Even if they have feelings for someone else, you are not going to leave them.
Even they push you away, you are not going to leave them.
Even if someone try push you away from Kris, you are not going leave them.
Not even a second.
