Woman arrested on false rape claims against a man that filmed her abusing her children.

A 46-year-old city woman was arrested on a warrant Sunday for lodging a false rape claim against the man who had secretly filmed her abusing her children two years ago, police said.
Lisa Livia, 46, of 25 Huckleberry Drive, was charged with making a false statement and released on a promise to appear in court. She has a court date of June 3.
Police say Livia came into headquarters on April 27 to report that the man with whom she lives and shares children had sexually assaulted her. She said she told him to stop at various times throughout the sexual encounter, but he had not heeded her requests, according to an affidavit.
After interviewing Livia, Detective Shannon Sherry interviewed her 50-year-old significant other, who said he was “puzzled” by the allegations, police said. He told officers that the couple had consensual sex earlier in the day, police said. He theorized that the false rape report may be an attempt by Livia to get back at him for her 2011 arrest, the affidavit alleges.
Livia was arrested in 2011 after her significant other filmed her verbally and physically abusing the couple’s two small children over a one-month period, police said. The case is still pending.
