Just a few of my thoughts, desires, and wishes for my life! Creating my own captions, and sharing some of my favorites! Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone had a great holidays, and hopefully had a little bit of a break! As we roll into 2026, I figured I’d start the year off with a bit of an update in the form of setting some resolutions for this year!

Resolution 1 -  I will post a new caption at least once a day. Sounds simple enough, right???? I tend to write captions in batches, either as inspiration strikes or I have free time. So my goal for this year is at least 1 new caption each day. There may be days I post extras, but no promises!

If you haven’t yet you can always check out my After Dark account over on X (Twitter) for some spicier content each week as well. 😉

Resolution 2 - I need to work on improving my health this year. There were some extenuating circumstances in 2025, and let’s just say that the skinny jeans aren’t quite fitting so well anymore. 

Resolution 3 -  Read more books! Raise your hand if you’ve also dipped your toe into Romantasy books! If you’ve got any book recommendations, let me know! I’m going to share some of the books I’m reading here, so feel free to jump in with your thoughts! Perhaps book club???

Resolution 4 -  I need to buy less panties…. Wait wait wait, hear me out! I probably have enough to go months without wearing the same pair twice. So I’m going to limit myself, no more than, let’s say 4 new purchases this coming year??? Maybe along with resolution 2, I can use some of that money I save to buy some cute new clothes!

Resolution 5 -  Continue to live my best girly life! I’m so happy all of you are here to enjoy the caps, and hopefully live your best girly lives with me! And by the way, did you know that April 21st will mark 10 years for me making my own caps here on Tumblr?! 

So that’s all for now! Here is to hopefully an amazing 2026!

Do I love a dirty cap? Of course! But there are plenty of those out there already, some that I may have written under different accounts…

But this account, I’ve always strived to keep it as clean as possible. And to write the caps I wish I could have seen when I was growing up.

What have I been doing while not making cap? Well work... Work is super busy, but I guess job security then???

But I've also been reading! Since my last book club post, I dived into some sci-fi re-reads, FINALLY finished the latest Blood and Ash book, and a few other books. Maybe I'll write those up, but I wanted to start with my latest finish, The Will of the Many.

I know I'm behind on this book, it came out in 2023, but it was worth the wait! I started reading fantasy novels long before I dived into the spice, and this reminded me a lot of some of my old favorites.

So first off, no, this did not have any spice. But you know what, that's fine. It was still an amazing world. James Islington set up a wonderful world, with a very unique magic system. There are so many questions that I have walking away from the book, and I definitely kept being surprised by the twists that came up.

Honestly, if you like fantasy books, I'd highly recommend it. And thank goodness I don't have to wait to long for answers, because I've already started reading book 2!

Missing But Not Forgotten!

I'm sorry for disappearing. I promise you haven't all been forgotten! As I mentioned before time has been short, and I just haven't had the time to spend on caps recently along with everything else.

Quick March Update

Hey girls!

We've made it (almost) through March! I hope 2026 is off to a good start for all of you!

I wanted to drop in and give a quick update, and I hope to be able to write something a bit longer soon.

I'm really happy about being able to keep up with caps, for the most part, this year. I do have some fun pics in the hopper, so I'm excited to keep this trend going.

You may have noticed that you are only seeing original caps now, and there haven't been any reposts in a couple of days. That's because I've been getting squeezed for time recently, and just haven't had time to scroll through Tumblr looking at new caps. Right now the priority is keeping the originals going, but if I get some free time, I intend to keep posting my favorites as I find them.
