We're back for round 3! Naturally, I'm taking rules into account here from last time, as well as trying my best to seed things so matchups can be at least somewhat fair. But anyway, time for the rules!!
Notes on nominations:
You may submit as many characters as you like! The form is set up so you can do that easily.
Only 2 characters per series will make the cut. This is to prevent half the entire tournament being one entire thing. If anything gets more than two, the ones with the highest number of votes will be chosen. If there's a tie, I'll flip a coin (or if I know it well enough, I'll be tiebreaker)
Previous winners cannot enter again, but will have their own special poll in the post-tournament fun polls. Past winners are Starscream (Transformers as a whole) and Talita Dospaco (Runaway to the Stars).
The deadline is June 5 2024, Jun 15 2024, 12 PM EST. This should give you guys plenty of time to get in your space blorbos!
Acceptable characters:
Must be fictional.
Must be from another planet (or anywhere outside of Earth's orbit) and not human (but they can look human). They may be part human, however.
Extradimensional life counts, so long as they are depicted more like aliens and less like eldritch horrors.
The character being an alien must be canon, not headcanon. When canon implies but is not obvious about it, characters will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. (sorry Jojo fans, Mikitaka is too ambiguous for me - but I think he's pretty cool!).
Any form of media is fine - books, TV, games, you name it! If it’s fiction, it works!

It's okay! I'm not upset or anything, just thought I'd make a little reminder!
But she, like Starscream, will show up each time I run this again at the very end to be part of the poll where all winners get to duke it out. So she's forever enshrined as the queen of the second run, where she just blitzed through things and came out on top. It was a fun run for me to watch over the entire time!
To whomever submitted Talita: sorry, can't take her again. Previous winners (Talita and Starscream right now) are kept from subsequent entries. That doesn't mean they won't show up again, though! Like last time, they'll get to show off at the end in a poll with the newest run's winner. I'll also add some other for-fun polls at the end too, like the playful jab at my own name mistakes from before (I really should've known those and yet...) and the "battle of the blorbos".
Now onto a little bit about the submissions status! Currently, we have 10 unique submissions, and 10 overall (I've excluded the Talita submission). I've also taken a note on the one anon message sent, that way I can count that as a nomination.

So, gonna go look at things I have, and then I'll set up a form for submitting nominees.
I want to make it feel fair, but also not limit anyone too much.
For the record, no specific incarnation of literally any transformer was indicated whenever they were submitted in any run of this poll. Starscream, Bumblebee, and Optimus were just submitted as "Transformers". So I've just went "fuck it, it's any and all iterations, follow your heart and go nuts". I ask a few friends of mine for their finest images of the boys and use that. Whatever incarnation I get is whatever incarnation I get.
So if you were wondering which one of any of them it's been, your guess is as good as mine.
