I found this account’s information while digging through my friends old journals. every password and email was written down in the metallic sharpies they loved to use. Their name was Simon, they were 19 and we now believe an undiagnosed schizophrenic as well as recovering from a very toxic relationship. they were taken away when they were overwhelmed by what I thought was just their life but the more I dig the more I see that they were so much sicker than we all thought they were. they kept track of dreams and symbols and signs but outside of their journals and this account I don't believe they shared that voice with the rest of the world. I want to thank those who cared and listen to the abstract prattling they shared. it was apparently a very deep part of who they were. the last thing they had written in their journal had been “I see the sky above me but it holds no comfort, id much prefer to be found in dirt sleeping beneath the trees.” I planted a tree for them this summer and it sits near the banks of lake superior. I hope who ever is out there still checking these you’re reminded that you aren't alone. please if youre suffering get help. please if youre scared tell someone. please dont go out quietly and afraid. Simon wanted everyone to know they had a voice and the ability to read signs the universe gave us. Simon also saw the good in people even when it killed them. they suffered with an unspoken illness with a lot of unspoken trauma and that silence ate away at them. please please please for Simon dont let your silence eat away at you. his was hard to write as I've had this information for a few weeks now. I haven't known what to say to strangers I never interacted with. I just know how they left this account and I wanted to give honest clarity to the few people who heard them. they were not of this world but my hope is they are somewhere their thoughts are clearer and they are heard by those who must hear them.
stay safe, stay warm, and as Simon said, may your dreams remain meaningful.
