Axaleium smiled at Amori, thinking on her question for a long moment. "Siblings huh? I had two. One you know about, Vargeth, my little brother who died when the Scourge first invaded. My little sister is still around. She is back at the family manor. Aside from that, I have no other family, I'm heir apparent and waiting to fix a few problems with my home before I claim it."

When she asked about his best friend, he shook his head. "Sadly, I don't seem to make many friends. When I do get a new friend, I'll let you know." He said, smiling at her and chuckling softly.

The final question made him smile a bit wider. "A crush? Is that even a real question? Of course I have one. She is simply wonderful and I care deeply about her. I'm sure you know who she is, but she is a great woman." He said, reaching out and touching her cheek softly. "And I can't wait to get her talking more about herself."

Axaleium ran his fingers though Amorianna's hair, laying together on the couch. His other hand lightly played with the collar he had given her, the silk and silver that he had hand made. A smile played across his lips. "This might seem so soon, but, I love you." He whispered in her ear.

Fear, that’s the only emotion Amorianna could fee at the moment. Love was never a thing she’d say so easily, let alone say it to anyone so loosely. She sat up on the couch and peered over at Axaleium with dead eyes but a sly smirk appeared on her lips. She didn’t say anything for a few moments, for no word was released from her lips out of pure fear of falling for anyone. It is true, they were a blossoming passion but in the back of her mind, she was afraid of getting hurt in the long run. 

“Axaleium, what makes you so sure that you love me? Define it for me, dear. Are you in love with me or do you feel that emotion for me?” She asked, leaning closer to him with a tilt of her head. She never intended to hurt feelings but she was always guarding herself from any kind of hurt.. it wasn’t an emotion that she took care of very easily nor nicely at that. “Confessing ones’ love so soon can either make or break a relationship, especially if one fell quicker than the other. Please, do not be alarmed but it is all out of curiosity. Enlighten me.”

Her body language told him volumes. He had scared her, in a way she wasn’t used to at all, and that worried him. She looked into his eyes with ones that would be devoid of emotion, trying to mask herself with a smile, but it was too late, the words had been spoken.

“What makes me so sure?” He asked, sighing softly. “Attempting to define an abstract emotion, one that is only able to be felt but rarely put into true words is tough. You may as well ask me to hold the sky. But...”

He reached out and took her hand, and if she allowed him to, he placed it over his heart. “This tells me it is right. When you are away, I am concerned, when you are near, I wish only for your happiness. When you are happy, I am. When you frown, I feel it. I know this could end our relationship, but I had to say it... For the sake of our future, if you wish there to be one.”

He closed his eyes and still held her hand, simply waiting now for her response to it. It was tough to explain how he felt about her. How every time she touched him in any way, it felt like electricity flowing though his body, how ever smile lit up his world, how everything she did simply made him feel wonderful.

Axaleium picked up the book at Amorianna had left on his desk. Opening it up, he found a small picture of her, standing naked in front of her bed, a delicious smile upon her face.

“Oh... Oh dear.” He said, looking at the picture and then grinning at it. “I ummm... I think I’m going to hold onto this... Until she gets back...” He said, kissing it and then slipping it back into the book, walking to the living room to await her return, with a little bit of humorous blackmail to boot.

"Top five things I like about Amorianna?" He asks back, smiling and chuckling softly. "Ok, lets see here. One, her eyes. Gods her eyes. Two, her confidence and drive. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. No one makes her back down."

"Three, her voice. By the Light her voice. To me, it's like she is singing all the time. Every word she says makes me shiver inside and want her to talk to me more. Four, her kindness. She has a wonderfully kind soul, and one that just shines to me, inside and out."

"Lastly... Her touch. When she just wants to place her hand upon me, to hold me or just be close. It's wonderful. A simply wonderful feeling."

✢ for a good memory that makes them smile

"A happy memory that makes me smile huh? Alright, that should be easy." Axaleium said, leaning back in his chair and looking up to the sky. "When I was young, rather young, I used to have other siblings. My brother and sister loved to play pranks. One day, they got me in one because I was so much taller than either of them and no one would pay me a second glance... After all, I was the good boy."

He chuckled softly and shakes his head. "Anyways, we got into the west wing of the house. There was supposted to be a big old party that night, my parents were social butterflies, and we had to stay out of sight and mind on this evening. Well, if we couldn't be there... We could still make a huge impact. We umm... Well, my little sister was an aspiring alchemist see..." He said, grinning wide.

"She had a big bag of potions on her. We poured out some of the alcohol and replaced it with said potions. Oh it turned out to be a most entertaining night! Random magical events happening all over the place, the guests thought it was part of the show, the theme of the evening, my parents however... They where horrified." He said, laughing softly and taking a sip from his wine. "Now... What's your next question?"

Axaleium lowered himself down into the bushes. He had been tracking Knucklerot for nearly three hours. The massive creature was a Scourge creation, one that he had to put down. He pulled his warblade close and narrowed his eyes.

"For the Fallen!" He shouted, running towards the creature as it turned towards him.

The sword arched out and parted flesh like paper, the Light burning it as it tore across. Arrows graced out behind him, slamming into the creatures shoulder and pinning it so it couldn't move that arm. A moment later, one more arrow hit, this one expoding and taking off said arm.

Amorianna was with him, she had been the whole time. Ever since he has her out, they had become like shadows of each other. Ax dodged the massive meat cleaver and seared flesh off at the beasts knee, bringing it down. More arrows rained out and hit dead on in it's face and eyes, blinding it. Another exposive arrow hit it in the chest, further opening it up. Ax's sword came down, taking off the arm and then arching up, wrapped in light, took off the creatures head.

They had done it killed it. With any luck, it would stay dead and they wouldn't be able to remake it. For good measure, Ax dug around in his bags, finding the flask of oil and his flint. They left when it was on fire, holding hands and smiling. This all just felt so right.

He simply didn't care that they walked in a Scourge infested area, they could handle anything this place threw at them.
