Y'ALL THEY FINALLY DID IT. WOMEN 2 IS OUT
TIL that in ancient Rome, commoners would evacuate entire cities in acts of revolt called âSecessions of the Plebeiansâ, leaving the elite in the cities to fend for themselves

lets bring this back
Get the most up-to-date outbreak information here.
heads up errbody
I realised I just posted a link without information here so let me expand on this:
This is a massive Jif peanut butter recall. Basically every single variety of it is recalled. The lot numbers included are 1274425 through 2140425, but the recall notice itself doesnât say those are exclusive, so Iâd be wary for a while (I am a smidge paranoid).
If you have Jif in your pantry, check it, and if itâs in that lot number range, throw it out. Do not eat it!!! Even if youâve been fine so far! Just donât!!
(this information is current as of May 22, 2022)
*vibrating* itâs the cowboy witch poem itâs the cowboy witch poem itâs the cowboy witch poem
Had a revelation recently and thought it might help other people too.
There is absolutely NO shame in having a ton of projects on the go and switching between or even dropping them on a whim.
Hobbies are meant to be FUN.
You can have 20 writing projects, or knitting, or whatever your thing is, and putting them down for a bit or abandoning them is a-okay.
I personally would never think that someone who started playing a video game and then decided to play another before it was finished was a quitter, so why am I so judgemental towards myself?
Doing your hobbies in a way that brings you joy isn't selfish or weak, it's...literally the whole point of them. Go nuts!
Melanated Female Inventors. Ten inventions that happened because of Black Women.
I feel personally offended when books I didn't like are popular. This is both normal and expected.
I actually think the real advantage tumblr has over other websites is the ability of ârebloggingâ to create posts with contributions from multiple users. This allows people to build on othersâ posts, whether thatâs derailing them with a terrible joke, drawing the scenario proposed as a comic, answering the question posed originally in lively essay format, or rewriting the previous interaction as a scene in Shakespearean iambic pentameter.
This is also why Tumblr is hard to make profitable. Individual users have relatively little power to create good content. Itâs interactions between users that actually creates the good content, and therefore, no one involved in the good stuff on Tumblr can really claim to âownâ it or be the âcreator.â
Posts have to navigate through Tumblr to pick up the people that can add to them in a constructive way, and then when users interact, the whole interaction can spread across the website as a new evolution of the content. Thereâs no way to simplify this process.
Theres a whole ecosystem running here. Itâs not as simple as Creators and Consumers, and you canât simplify it to that. Thatâs not how ART works, let alone posts. Thereâs symbiosis. The users that do the nitrogen fixation arenât the ones photosynthesizing. The detritivores canât also be the predators. The ârappers doing normal shit blogâ has a different niche than the person that asks why Lil Wayne has socks on in the jacuzzi, who has a different niche than the person who says âthose are his hooves, you bitch!â
Itâs like bioavailability, you see. The user that responds âThose are his hooves, you bitchâ is like a predator on a high trophic level, unable to directly feed on producers, needing primary consumers to convert the post into a form that makes a punch line possible.
Being in this generation is so difficult because we grew up experiencing how incredible technology is, but are now watching it fall to capitalism. When we were young videogames were incredible, people made incredible games that they shared with us and it was art, it was story, it was the best a developer could put out there. Now it's pay to win, it's pay to unlock content that came on the disk, releasing half finished games, make money and run.
It's the same with social media. It used to be a place to share art and ideas, make friends, connect with people, and now it's all ads, branded content, pay to have your work seen.
Don't get me started on apps gatekeeping phone types for better quality, the making of a new phone every year that you have to get because everything is designed to make your older tech obsolete.
Capitalism has stripped humanity from the awe of what the internet and technology used to be. The rich get richer, companies sell their morals to the highest bidder, and there is nothing we can do but watch our future slip away.
the older i get the more i realize how unimportant it is to tell people my business
loved being like 12 years old and making an OC and saying âyeah theyâre a hardened criminal. theyâre deeply involved in crime. theyâre in a gangâ and then never elaborating on that because i didnât know how crime worked. this is still my approach
this feels relevant

A non-exhaustive list in no particularly sane order of shit nobody told me in Pokemon Arceus that would have been really fucking cool to know.
1. Release your unwanted pokemon. Donât sit on those 15 starlys that you caught for research. They give you items when you release them. Not quite as morbid sounding as the infamous âcandiesâ from Pokemon Go, but Iâm not going to ask where all this grit comes from.
2. Go collect those lost satchels. Not only are you recovering actual peopleâs items for you (thank you random internet strangers!) but thatâs how you get merit points⊠something I wish that lady at the cart could have told me when I was trying to figure out wtf she was all about.
3. Pay attention to the shopkeepersâ side quests. Thatâs how their inventory gets better.
4. Remember to stay on top of the farmer and his crops. It is absolutely worth the trouble to get him to grow your materials for you.
5. Check the board in the professorâs office once in awhile. You get no indication thereâs new quests there unless you are already in the building for some reason.
6. You can get eevee right at the beginning of the game if you go left out of the first base camp and hang out in that field. The moss stone to get a leafeon is in the south of the first area so you can get your first eevee evolution early on. Iâve seen a lot of people say the spawn rate here is bad but I see them all the time so YMMV.
7. You cannot swim. The game doesnât try to stop you, but you will die and it will suck.
8. You take fall damage. But not as much as you think So yeet yourself off that cliff. Really, what could happen?
9. You arenât getting out of crafting in this game. Sorry.
10. We finally have a game where status effect moves are worth having! When youâre trying to catch that alpha and it has a sliver of health and it still wonât get in the fucking pokeball⊠a solid paralyze or drowsy just might make the difference.
11. Oh, btw, if youâre brand new at this⊠donât get too excited when you find that red eyed demon rapidash in the field off to the left of the first base camp. If you get too close he will murder you and he wonât even feel bad about it. Thatâs an alpha. They are bonkers strong. I donât know why none of your new coworkers thought to mention that.
12. You have to turn in your research notes. This isnât something that I missed doing but my husband was wandering around for a loooong time before he realized thatâs why he wasnât making any progress.
13. Some of the sidequests are really vague about what they want from you. Just google it. âI need a pokemon with three leaves on my headâ. Bitch, I have so many pokemon with so many leaves, you are going to have to be more specific than that!
14. Check out your map. Thatâs where you can track your missions and requests. Took me forever to find it.
15. That deer is going to get you killed so so often. Controlling him is like drunk driving a pogo stick that has a turbo button where the dismount button should be.
i love when i see my hyperfixation on my dash and its posted by somebody who i had no idea liked the media i was hyperfixated on

I donât know what little cat needs to hear this but. it is Not Dinner Time. you are not going to starve and it will be okay.
The spy chasing me throws a tracking device at my car. The throw is perfectly timed and the small, round device hits the bumper perfectly flush. However, since the tracker is magnetic and my shitty car is plastic, it bounces off
The spy is following me as I walk down the street. I bob in and out of shops. Pause and accelerate my pace randomly. Stop to tie my shoe so he loses sight of me. I stay perfectly out of his reach. This is all due to being sleep deprived, confused, hungry, and lost
The spy freezes my bank account. I do not notice for three weeks and only because Netflix sends me an email about non-payment
The spy chasing me does a stakeout at my house. After 4 days of trying to match my sleeping pattern he has to call HQ for backup
What did you do that requires a spy to follow you so thoroughly?
Honestly I have no idea. My best guess is that it's a misunderstanding
