Yeah, things are complicated, and this day is tough for her. That’s a good point and nice of you to offer. Hope you’re good at cooking though, because I’m there and our other sister will join and I’m already hungry.

I'm not the best cook but I make a mean french toast and I can probably scramble up some eggs and throw some bacon in the microwave and not burn them.

Oh. Yeah. I kinda went off on this rant about mothers day not knowing that she was a mom so I wanted to try and make up for it by cooking breakfast. I told her that seeing how she's a mom and it's mothers day, she deserves breakfast.

Well, I’m sorry. I would hope people wouldn’t bring it up too much to spare you and many others, but that would be in vain, to be honest. Just try to distract yourself with something else. It’s only a day.
