EVERY i swear EVERY time I get a fun idea of a fanfic I start thinking through what those characters would and wouldn't dont and what would make sense and it becomes so much less fun........... and then I come back my raw ideas from like a year ago and think of how cool they are
Anyways here are some random sdmi AUs and ideas I cant get myself to start writing
1. Just after Nibiru is set free, the world breaks into two versions - dead and alive people, and goes back in time for a while. People from different sides must cooperate in saving the Crystal Cove (or maybe not really, looking at you professor Pericles) while not being able to see, hear or feel any presence of anyone but those in your world. Though, of course, the loophole is you can interact with things and items. Both sides can.
2. Mr. E, who had been hiding a little time machine on his wrist for quite a while now, waiting for things to go even worse to fix all the evil altogether, comes back in time just before dying.
Suddenly, someone else starts sending E's signature letters, Destroido gets silently hacked in and, well, clearly theres something going against Ricky Owens' plans. And even though it's not a big issue, really - he's stealthy enough for the majority of the time, it starts to bother him that a certain someone is growing more and more aware that there might not be just one Mr. E in Crystal Cove
3. 5+1 times where Ricky gives Cassidy his coat and one time she gets to keep it because oh my gooooood I just want to imagine that fluff in my head before I fall asleep
4. After Cassidy and Ricky die, both wake up just before the first mystery and keep their memories. After some time, both are aware about another's situation and start working with each other while also maintaining pretty tough relationships, mostly arguing and bickering over little things and slowly overcoming grudges and disagreements.
No serious drama, Pericles doesn't go feral, just me and my divorced heavily married couple that makes it everyone's problem and the fluff it brings
5. OR!!! Both wake up keeping their memories and E creates a fake identity just to draw the attention from himself if anyone else has the memories they shouldn't have. Cassidy sees Ricky work with a questionable someone and investigates, starting to talk to that mysterious person. After some time it turns out that Angel actually starts to somewhat trust the man, after a bit more, they get even closer. After even more-
No, I'm just kidding, Ricky is terribly embarrassed of it from the very beginning. Perhaps having another identity was an awful idea.
6. OR!!! Both wake up keeping their memories and Ricky starts SERIOUSLY avoiding Cassidy, while also trying to work everything out on his own, which drives her crazy. I'm not actually sure of how to continue this and I doubt she won't just kill him the moment they finally meet but yeah have fun
