Before Arizona Lady takes the stage in her U.S. opera premiere, she has quite a few adventures planned. 'Arizona Lady' is an operetta written in 1953 as a love letter to the American Southwest. Featuring Arizona Lady, a horse who wins the Kentucy Derby.

At rehearsal, Angela Fout (who plays Lona Farrel) found out that the name Arizona Lady actually refers to a horse, and not her.

Words were said, props were thrown, things got weird. But they worked it out.
