Vierapril Day 2: Tree

While hanging around Bentbranch Meadows one night, Dorian runs into an abnormal sighting

However for him (and me) the sight of this tree brings back memories of raids long past

So, P8S was the first savage that I had completed that I had a static for. Despite the numerous attempts afterward to teach other groups the fight, which kept me in there for at least a year, it still remains one of my favorite savage fights to this day.

The Tree is VERY much a reason, because me and friends would try to make it the instant it was gamma skipped twice.

So when I saw the prompt, I felt like I had to do the tree

Starting my Tumblr journey with Vierapril! Need the experience on here so this is the perfect opportunity for it!

For soft, my friend @midnightamant had used a photo of us on our alts being cute so I thought id carry the same the idea and do our mains!

Favorite childhood book: I fucking LOVED the Percy Jackson series, as well as Riordans follow up series.

Currently reading: Havent touched it in a hot minute, but currently Loitering by Charles D'Ambrosio

Currently watching: The Bear (S2), meaning to watch more but YT tends to take up most of my entertainment

Currently consuming: Its 5:20am and im putting off sleep, so Water lmao

Currently craving: I havent had a good Auntie Annes style pretzel in ages, miss those.

Gonna wax poetic about going through the game for a second time on an alt for a moment.

It's been really nice to accompany my friend on his first journey through 14 and to do this with another friend who, like me, made an alt to go through it with him. I really feel like we've been able to just experience it rather than rush to endgame. We've paused for gpose sessions, we talk to the NPCs between quest objectives, we fool around, and we pause msq to do roulettes sometimes. I really treasure it this time around, because I can focus way more on the story beats and think of lore for my character (and discuss lore for my friend's characters too!) rather than spending most of the time trying to figure out how the game works like I did on my first go through. Here are some pics from our journey so far!
