like,, the aesthetic? love it. the books? they have their merit. suits? yes please. sappho? she’s the shit! but once you start acting ~pretentious~ to be cool without understanding the underlying -isms that so often tie into that, that’s where i draw the line. not only does it make you kind of an ass but it also just pushes people away with whom you might otherwise be able to develop really fun and meaningful friendships. Let’s be honest - Everest should be cut off from climbers, and the only people that should be allowed up there are ppl who volunteer to clean up all the garbage and human excrement adrenaline junkies have left up there over the decades, and anyone who volunteers to attempt to bring down any bodies of those who died.
