I absolutely shrieked when Bernie spoke about the proposal he and Hillary made that would make college tuition free for children from families who make under 125k free. And then I nearly started crying. It’s real now. We have a chance.

I don’t care if you don’t fully support Hillary. The Obamas and Bernie now have spoken passionately on the subject and are endorsing her. I will never not think Bernie should have been president but I trust that man. I would’ve happilly lived in a country with him as my leader. I trust the Obamas, too, and if they’re all throwing their support behind Hillary, I think we should, too.

To you Bernie supporters who are refusing to back Hillary even now….listen to me. In an ideal world, you get to vote for who you want to be president. You get to use your vote on who you want, even if they’re not one of the forerunners. Well, news flash, this isn’t an ideal world. The moment Hillary and Trump got their respective majorities, we lost that luxury. Go on, vote Independent if you want, pen Bernie’s name in if you want. It’s a free country and I will fucking fight for your right to vote for who you want. But if you do, in my opinion, you’ve wasted your vote.

We have got to stand together. Trump’s supporters are numerous and vicious and they have no qualms like we do. If we remain divided, he will win. And that chance for free tuition will be gone. I shouldn’t have to tell you what other chances that Hillary’s presidency offers us will be gone, too.

Who knows, maybe Hillary being president will bite us in the ass later. But it’s nothing compared to what will happen if Trump becomes president.
