Some detail photo’s of Lizzie’s skirt, which I made with lace fabric. It’s longer at the back, shorter at the front.

I sewed a piece of lace in the crotch area, to prevent the skirt from pulling up.

This is Lizzie, my grey Resinsoul Li. Her corset is made by Raouken. I’m making her into my goose girl. Things I made so far: her bodypaint and face up, her eyes, her Greylag goose feather wig and wings, her lacey skirt, her goose boots and steampunk goggles.

At this moment I’m finishing her capelet and wrist warmers. I hope to finish this project this week!

I finally made up my mind and gave Yumi her pastel freckles. I used copic marker, which worked pretty well. I really want to do something with her eyelashes, but I have such shaky hands… I cant wait for her new eyes to arrive though!! Ill post a pic of the ones I got through etsy! I might sell her current eyes, theyre the ones that came with her but I dont know what brand they are.

The glow paint did change the color of her swirls and panties slightly, but I don’t mind because, well… LOOK AT THAT GLOW! It’s amazing!

I need to seal it and re-gloss her lips, but my baby firefly is done!

someone in the anti recast tag on Instagram is being a really brat so I wanna get some things straight

- bjd are not Expensive Barbies. They are not mass produced and a ton of time and work goes into them

- they are art. from the crafting that goes into their initial sculpting to the hand making of wigs and careful face ups, they are all unique and art to those who admire them. if you wanna go into aesthetics philosophy that's a whole other kettle of fish

- said person was, and I quote, both anti hybrid and anti mod. Anti MOD. Of course you refuse to see it as art and call it a Barbie doll if cover your eyes and ears and say that you're not listening whenever someone make it unique!

Nimh’s turn! Again, please forgive the unedited photos, I have no excuse other than “I don’t have the energy for shit” lol. This girl looks so at home in the mountains I swear, I really should take her up more often, these are just quick poses at little side of the road tourist overlooks, I can only imagine the cool sorts of pictures I could get with her on actual hikes.

I also should make her a new wig, this one is inexcusably messy, but for now it’s low on the priority list- as are the winter clothes I want to make her (I’m thinking about a rabbit fur capelet as well as a cosier top and pants- maybe even a teeny hat. Idk, by the time I’m able to make her another outfit it’ll probably be spring again lol.)
