As per the study conducted by PornMD, as much as 6 out of the top ten countries across the globe which browse majority of the porn sites have Muslim majority. This info was revealed by the biggest search engine on the planet, i.e., Google.
The countries were listed taking into account the search queries done on Google from different countries. Below are the top 10 countries which have been found to watch the most amount of porn on the web:
The users from Pakistan top the list for the most search queries related to porn. Next comes Egypt and then Vietnam followed by Iran, Morocco and India. Saudi Arabia hits the seventh spot, Turkey eight, Philippines ninth, and the last one is Poland.
In the above list, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Turkey are the Muslim nations. The most interesting thing about this data is, all the Muslim countries that are listed above are widely recognized for their strict internet censorship rules and regulations.
For instance, in the states such as Pakistan, Iran and Saudi Arabia, people do not have the permission to access above half a million 18+ plus sites. In a number of countries, YouTube, the world’s most popular video site stays banned simply to limit the people from browsing any type of content that may be offensive or anti-Islam.

She says, “The most disgusting thing from the above stats is the fact that Pakistan have once again topped the search queries for sexual terms of different animals such as donkeys, pigs, cats, goats, cats, dogs, monkeys, snakes, elephants, bears, cows & also the generic search term animal.
Saudi Arabia, another Muslim country, was the lone country that generated more search queries than Pakistan for the term “fox sex”. Besides, the country finished on the second or third place for most of the aforementioned animal sex terms. Some other Muslim nations that topped the first 5 places for the above terms, in no particular order were, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Malaysia, UAE, & Indonesia.
Another interesting stat was that Turkey ranked in the 2nd position for the term “child porn”, & searches like “gay sex”, “gay man”, & “gay girl” were done in Arabic which came as the second language for these queries.
Egypt took the first place for other search terms such as “bird sex” & “fat sex”. For the term “homo sex”, Indonesia led the pack, while Saudi Arab took the first place for “ass sex”.
Pakistan once again led the pack and came first for terms like “sexy children”, “rape” as well as “sexy child”.
Even though pornography seems to be banned in most of the Muslim world, for instance, Egypt, which banned adult websites in the year 2012, the above stats are enough to show that people are paying no attention to the prohibitions made by their govt.
Most experts believe the addiction towards pornography is a topic that most Imams towards the west are well aware of, yet it is one such area which they don’t wish to enter into.
The funny thing is, the porn watching habits of American’s showcase a similar irony. The states in the southern parts of America, which are recognized as the most conservative ones stream more gay sex than other parts of the United States, according to Buzzfeed. The list is topped by Mississippi, Georgia and Louisiana.
Pornhub conducted a research in 2014 that revealed “each single states towards the south as higher percentage of porn lovers as compared to the states where gay marriage is permitted.”
The common string among the highly censored Islam world and the conservative parts of South America is enough to raise the doubts of whether an illegal fruit truly tastes sweeter than the legal one.
The sad part is that pornography holds its place strongly both in the Islamic as well as non-Islamic countries. There is hardly any restriction on the adult content in the western world and everybody is well aware of this fact. On the other hand, the consumption of the adult content in the other parts of the world was a thing which very few people knew existed.
