Love her
It’s finally being able to listen to that song we loved without getting lost in what was,
Its passing by your exit on the freeway and not feeling my body tense up.
It’s being out having a good time, fully present and not feeling shame in wondering how it would feel if you were here too.
It’s deleting all our pictures and text threads, because deep down yeah, there was a little hope but honestly I needed to clear space in my phone.
It’s not self sabotaging, finding others to fill a void hoping to avoid confronting my emotions.
It’s not wondering what you’re doing or who you’re doing or how you’re doing because it no longer concerns me.
It’s redirecting my energy to focusing on the things I love.
It’s understanding my process doesn’t linger on an exit speech, because you were here to teach me things about myself that needed more attention.
Its me not resenting the days since your last text, but applauding myself for the ability to finally stop enabling.
It’s closing the spaces I held for you,
so I can move on too.

we need more public people who share GOOD values instead of this crappy shit all these rappers and singers represent
