It was an honor and privilege to attend the Womens Fund of Long Island Benefit with my surrogate mother @marcialdyson which featured a speech by one of my favorite actresses ever, Patricia Arquette, and another by one of my favorite designers, Donna Karen. The Women’s Fund of Long Island (WFLI), and specifically their GirlsFLI program, brings together high school girls each year from diverse social, economic, racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds across Long Island. The girls in the program were a group of such lovely young ladies it was proof of what mentoring and healthy peer relationships can do to positively affect a young persons life...
