Just a simply question for both mun and Avdol. I've JUST started drawing. I wanna keep drawing but I also wanna have fun, and start a badlydrawn blog of my own. But I'm too scared to show my own artwork on here because it's so shitty (at least in my opinion) So my questions are: Mun, how long have you've been drawing and what made you start? And Avdol, what is your advise to get courage to show off a learning skill?

It’s hard but you must try your best to show off what you are good at now! As time goes on and you keep working at this skill you can compare your progress from the beginning to now! Don’t forget to be patient with yourself not everyone progresses at the same pace. It may be slow for you but you may start to make progress at a faster rate in the future!

((I’ve been drawing for around 4 years anon! I started because I wanted to make my own story when I got older whether I told it through a comic, an animated series, a game series, etc. I want you to know that if you do plan on making a badlydrawn blog there are plenty of us who will support you as you start out and as time in the badlydrawn family goes on! We always welcome new blogs no matter the amount of experience with art they have! It’s all about having fun with the character and making friends if you so choose to! It’s also a very good way to improve your art over time as you answer more and more asks, as you can tell with my bdavdol, my style has changed quite a bit from the first post!
