I hope I can sustain this "recharged" feeling from my active but slow living weekend for this work week.
My work schedule is full of meetings for the day so Jolo and I decided to take at least a decent lunch break and eat at the Bulalo House located outside our village. We ate lechon pares and pork sisig and we both find it sulit and delicious. We had extra time so we bought crema de leche from Mang Inasal before walking back home.
After work, we went to Bade cafe at Congressional Tower Center to try their coffee and food. Their avocado pesto toast and mushroom truffle pasta satisfied my hunger while I also enjoyed the cafe's chill and quiet ambience.
Finally able to try tennis with Guanie after two years! We arrived thirty minutes before our 4pm schedule at UP Tennis Court, only to find out that the coach accidentally double booked his session so our training was moved to 5pm instead. This gave me and Guanie more time to mentally prepare as we watch (and judge lol!) other players.
Since we have time to kill, I wanted to make use of the time and settle the payment already so I went to the entrance area. Saw a mini store just near the gate of the hard court. I was feeling a little hungry already and luckily, the store has pansit canton so I bought two packs for me and Guanie. A coach laughed uncontrollably as I pass by with a plate of pansit canton on my way to the hard court.
The one hour session with Coach Jun felt productive. Coach told me that it kind of looks like I am dancing when I do the forehand x backhand combo drills. I find this funny most especially in the context that Regina and Camille sent me the meme that the "home" of Gemini people is the dance floor. Haha!
After tennis, Jazzie arranged we get free seats at Barbie's concert in Mandaluyong. We went to the venue to eat dinner and listen to live music of Sandwich and Barbie's Cradle.
Bonus: saw Hannah of Session Road and we did not miss to have a photo with her.
Night did not end as Hunter waited for me at home so we can watch his movie recommendation RRR.
Spent my morning at Victoria Sports Center to watch Hunter's basketball game.
Regina went to QC today for her brother so we decided to meet. We went to UP Village for an afternoon leisure walk. I brought my film camera to have Hunter's wrestling film photos be scanned at Sunny16lab. When we got there, the people were extra energetic and chatty as they thought our matchy green outfits look great. One staff even requested he take our photos outside their store. So weird!
I bought another film roll so I decided we do a photowalk. From Sunny16lab, we went to Matahimik street where I greeted Jenica's dogs peeking from their third floor balcony.
At the end of Matahimik street, I decided to buy myself an iced coffee and as we open the cafe's door, our day got weirder. The two guys from the store cheered because (again!!) of our green outfits and that apart from that, they are also wearing green shirts. This moment really felt like we are in a simulation.
From Matahimik street -> Malamig (we went to Claret church to pray and Regina bought a strawberry shake after) -> Maginhawa -> Magiting and back to Malingap where we parked the car. We ate at Potatokick first before going home.
