I just shucked an entire collander full of black eyed peas from the garden, scraps shown. The other pic is all I have to show for it in a 8 oz juice glass. Growing your own food is rewarding, and these will be put up with other ones weve grown this summer for New Year's Day (luck). But, a lot of work goes into growing and, as you can see, not a lot of reward. If we had to survive off of the garden alone, we would starve. Or, we would have to turn the whole back yard into additional beds, which I might get divorced if I even mention due to my wife's feelings toward her weedeater right now lol. The problem is, I have a serious addiction to seed catalogs. So much fun stuff to grow and not enough space to do it. One day......one day I will have my farm. Just gonna go ahead and put it out into the universe. Try to grow something, anything. You will have so much more of an appreciation for food. You will never complain about the price of your fruit and veg again because you will know first hand the amount of work and love that goes into it. #bakersbackyardfarm #organic #urbanfarming #growyourownfood
