over the past week of not being online (bc of my trip to usa) i found that i'm not as reliant on internet as i thought i would, and i think this is a good time to start a hiatus -- school is starting (junior year! my first year of real ib! torture!) and university applications will be due before i know it ... i need to start focusing on my future; although tumblr is a great place to get info and learn it also distracts me from my real life responsibilities which i thought i needed but ... tbh i need to face them!!
in the past two/three years i haven't been satisfied with myself, i dodged all my problems, didn't think about fixing my flaws (um. for one ... procrastination to the point where i handed in a final assignment two days late? started on the day it was due?), and i think now is the right time to start changing myself for the better bc i have two years before i go out into the real world and it still scares the crap out of me. as lame and stupid as it sounds, i've set up a plan for myself to push myself to learn more, know more, and fix my bad habits. that way, when i compare myself to my overachieving classmates i won't feel like shit; when my parents ask me for my marks or my average i won't be afraid to tell them; and most importantly, i'll be able to tell myself that i've done a good job ......
tl;dr i'll be on hiatus from now until the end of september, and semi-hiatus after that unless i decide to ditch the whole tumblr thing (i don't want to thought! all of u, m'friends, are very precious to me and i don't want to lose you ... ) so yea!! pls stay happy, stay hydrated, and don't forget abt me :^) i'll be back ...
