Brittany Reid as Summer in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Cinderella, February 2011. Photograph by Lindsay Thomas.
The four seasons - Rachel Foster (Spring), Brittany Reid (Summer), Sarah Ricard Orza (Autumn) and Laura Gilbreath (Winter), wearing smart, sensuous tulle skirts, looked radiant up on that stage, each one uniquely suited for the spotlight.

Olga Smirnova as Marchesa Sampietri and Semyon Chudin as Prince Federici in “Marco Spada” pas de deux at Dance Open gala 2016. Photos copyright Jack Devant.
I was lucky enough to see them perform this, and they were absolutely gorgeous. Although I would’ve liked to see them perform something a bit more exciting, this pas de deux showed off how classical and clean they both are. I love how regal Olga is, and Semyon is the perfect partner for her!
