under the cover of darkness, magic rises from the parkgrounds...
In broad daylight, Wahoo World is a warm, cheerful place - welcoming thousands of visitors in its rides and attractions. The air smells like pastries, popcorn and chocolate, the colorful balloons and performers are everywhere.
At night, the theme park is a totally different beast. Most of the few who dared enter after closing time were witnesses to strange phenomena - seeing lights blink, feeling things that shouldn’t be here, hearing laughter and music while they knew that the park was fully deserted.
Trepassing is, after all, a simple act of passage - proving that you’re daring and rebellious enough to enter the place when you weren’t supposed to, take a couple pictures for the clout, and leave. Simple as that.
However, tonight’s trio of tricky trepassers had another idea in mind. There was a treasure in Wahoo World, and they needed it.

“Hurry up, lads. We don’t have much time.”
Entering the park after moonrise involved a clever use of a Tacticooler, a Reefslider that was repurposed as a parachute, and naturally over-average Zipcaster skills, but after enough trial and error, they managed to do it.
(Granted, not without a few unfortunate splats, but still)
“We have to find them. We have to seek the cosmic fish. They’re the only one able to give us the Splatoween we deserve.”
“ALSO, THIS ENTIRE CEPHALOPOD BLENDING OR MIND-CONTROLLING THING BUT I THINK ENOUGH PEOPLE HATE YOU FOR THAT ALREADY SO I WON’T ADD MORE FUEL TO THE FIRE”
(Octomed) Nova just looks stunned, seeing all his hard work just, get eaten. Okay... should he cry? Run away? Back away slowly and hope he isn't next? Tears run down his green cheeks as he slowly starts backing up, moving slowly and quietly before RUNNING and sobbing.
“Oh no, did I offend this kid by eating this delicious snack? Should I have shared it?”
