Hey all! Please help reblog/share/spread the word. The United Afghan Club @ UCLA is hosting its annual charity banquet/culture show on Saturday Jan. 31. We’ll be featuring live music (q-essar on rubab! Naim Popal will be singing and will be accompanied by my brother Samir and Azim Atta), free Afghan food for dinner, raffle, live attan (Afghan dance), skit, fashion show by King Noor LA (angela-kingnoorla) we’ll be playing baluchx's Sadae Afghanistan clips, and more!
This year, proceeds benefit Parsa’s program in Bamiyan, which helps Afghan women gain economic stability by providing them the resources needed to make and sell goods. They also have a kindergarten and Scout program for the youth.
