I did it! Next chapter to "This is Queendom" is up! Remember, this fic requires you to have an account and log into ao3 to view. It will not be made publicly, to prevent (easier) AI scraping and also because the content is spicier (in an amoral, non-consenting) way than the other fics. I'm interested to know any theories about what is going to happen next since I may or may not remember clearly. That's what happens when you put off writing for so long lol.
There doesn't seem to be too much interest in my tf-one fics anymore, judging by the lack of recent comments even on the better ones, so I think after I post this upcoming chapter, I will put the other 2 wip fics on hiatus and work on something else... like Beast Wars!
Just kidding. I don't have strong feelings about relationships that I could write a coherent fic about in Beast Wars, but I really like the animal-machine concept, and it's a well-written series despite the retro CG. Definitely deserves a little love from me anyway, it has its anniversary this year!
As promised, the final chapter of Come into My Kingdom in honor of Starscream making it so far in the tumblr mpreg polls... although no one is impregnated (yet, but they will be). I do have an epilogue planned for this fic, but this is the end of the actual plot. I hope you enjoyed, I did my absolute best at writing. No Ai was used, not even spellcheck because the word document was so massive, it stopped doing spell check and grammar check halfway through.

I'm really feeling the muse for the 2 wip fics I'm working on, although the latest fic was a breath of fresh air to get my brain back to writing. I hope you are ready for an update uhh, in the next month or two! (No promises.)
I'm actually watching Beast Wars from the beginning, so if TFOne continues to fail in spectacular ways that I had not even imagined a decent movie could flop, I might write from Beast Wars. But I'm currently not feeling a very strong ship vibe from the series so maybe not... I just really love animals lol.

I posted the first chapter to this, I only plan 3 total chapters, or 2 chapters and a short spinoff. I was losing enthusiasm on the other 2 in progress fics and thinking about k-pop girl groups as usual, so I gave myself a break and detoured with the humanformers bishoujo version of the High Guard harem AU. I'm super proud of this chapter and I expect the other 2 chapters will be just as good if not better, even though I know literally no one cares besides me lol.
But writing this did give me a few ideas of how to address some parts in the other wips that have been giving me writer's block. I hope you stick around for another uhh 2 or 3 months for updates on those two!
Urm, sorry I haven't been active here. I was working on a Transformers cosplay and being active in my local comm, however I still haven't finished the costume.. Then I decided to stop fussing around with the WIP fics and I started a new fic lol. But I will have something to post in the next week, I hope!
Timelines samurai-inspired Optimus Prime versus tengu demon Starscream!
Absolutely stunning figures, especially for the price. The box art is even more on theme than the previous steampunk sets, with wraparound box art using a graphic black/white/red woodcut style, and then gorgeous gold on black lacquer style illustrations for each character (the steampunk sets did not have corresponding artwork on each figure's box so this is an upgrade). Someone spent a lot of extra time to make the box art shine, which doesn't happen for the other sets.
As for the figures, they seem slightly higher quality than the steampunk set, especially Starscream. I noted that steampunk Starscream looked very flat with plain grey plastic and almost no metallic paint anywhere so he doesn't even look like a robot in a steampunk setting which is craaaazy, but Hasbro must have heard my complaints and this tengu Starscream has a few more bits of metallic paint now, on his helmet and the button chest bobbles. Perhaps the best part is the span of his wings that can move a decent range of direction, and the fact that his fan becomes the hawk's tail. The null ray guns are historically accurate rifles but again, I wish they had more color. Overall he feels much sturdier than the steampunk figure.
Optimus Prime has quite a bit of metallic accents in gold and silver with a lot of care put into recreating historical samurai details, such as the kabuto helmet horns, the armor pieces on the shoulder, hands and greaves, and of course the spinny ox cart wheels. Absolutely love his spear as well to represent the axe. No notes, OP is just a joy to look at.
I have to say both OP and Starscream seem smaller and/or lightweight, compared to the steampunk set (OP feels lightweight, SS feels smaller but weighs heavier). As you can see from the photos, both figures are not super flexible at the waist and shoulder as expected of transforming figures, and OP is a little less stable than Starscream with his giant bird talon feet, but overall they did well with basic combat poses.
I haven't transformed any of the Timelines figures yet, will make a post for all transformations later when I get the Megatron and Bumblebee set!

I was going to post an excerpt of the palace drama AU fic but I realized tumblr doesn't actually allow nsfw and I didn't want to risk getting flagged. Trust me, it's very sexy starwavewave with a side of elite trine, so sexy I can't even post more than a sentence at a time before it goes into the chikabowbow, therefore not worth posting a censored version here.
As it's also from Soundwave's POV, I don't think I'll add it to the main fic but... maybe I will, it's quite lengthy and has a bit of exposition. What do you guys think?

I'm congratulating myself that I was able to finish 2 fics and continue 2 different fics within the past few months for my ongoing ao3 fic saga about Transformers One.

I still have a few ideas brewing in my brain that I'm eager to write, but as previously mentioned in the prior entry, I don't think Transformers One is that popular anymore (completely understandable, not blaming fans for falling off a year+ later), so I'm not putting my full effort into writing fics for TFone now if not many people are interested. A little disheartening, but that's the fandom cycle, trust me, I've been in fandoms for over 25 years and know how it goes.
But I do want to get back into drawing seriously in 2026 for any series of Transformers. I'm determined to get better at drawing robots and also not forget how to draw humans lol. I have quite a few ideas and I think they'll be very impressive. To me, anyway lol.

I'm making a lot of progress on the next chapter of mech-preg, hope to update soon! Maybe this weekend? I decided to play it loose (looser? lol) with canon and lore and so I'm having a lot more fun than fretting about making mistakes.
To me, it seems like interest in Transformers One fic has dropped off quite a bit over a year after the movie came out, or at least the folks I'm following are no longer posting about their faves, and I don't see as many updates in the ao3 tag (although the heavy hitter long fics are still going strong) as I did last year. To be honest, I would guess most writers are using the all continuities tag instead, and I'm not checking that tag for One fics. And also there's only so much megop porn you can write based off one 90 minute kid's movie with no hope of a sequel and very little extra lore. Therefore I feel less scrutinized posting only in the One tag these days. Moreover, I already wrote my one "big" fic for the fandom so I'm just indulging writing purely for myself now, and that's the way it should be!
Idk, I hope other people enjoy my writing, but at least I'm laughing to myself while writing. I love joking to myself in my fics. It's the only thing to laugh about these days. Definitely nothing funny going on in the world...

My thoughts... I tried to buy these before the prices potentially increased lol. Each figure is gorgeously detailed and looks almost exactly like the art, however like most of the transforming figures, they feel fragile and have a lightweight-plasticky appearance and weight. They do have some mobility but not the best range of motion in each joint, I tried recreating their box art poses and I didn't get a high level of similarity. At least they can stand on their own despite their top-heaviness, I was a little worried. I feel like they could have bumped up the metallic sheen especially on Starscream who has no metallic accents at all compared to Bee who at least has a bit of gold and silver here and there. Or gone full steampunk with a bit of weathering or dirt or battle damage, but idk if companies ever do battle damage paint though, I think that just comes naturally from handling the figures over time lol.
Anyway, love this series even though I feel like Bee also being a train engine like Optimus is a bit meh, it would have been cuter if he was maybe a passenger coach car, but I get why he's also an engine. Starscream is so beautiful and diva as a bat bi-plane, he only needs a better paint job. Optimus Prime is peak as usual (I'm biased) and Megatron also great but not as peak.
I have yet to transform these because I'm afraid to break them but I will return with transformed pics if I do.
I have been getting weird comments on my fic that is just a huge block of untranslateable characters from a non-user of ao3 in various languages. Not sure if I'm being harassed or if it's a bot, there doesn't seem to be a purpose except to put a strain on ao3 servers. I didn't reply, just deleted one and reported the other.
However, if this is you, please get off anon so I can fight you properly.
this hasn't happened to any of my other fics in the decades i've been on ao3, so i'm not sure why this fic was targeted. it most certainly isn't the most popular fic i've written, much less in the tag or series. i guess someone really has it out for me.
