Regularly scheduled PSA/reminder that a full service restaurant is the ONLY place a tip is culturally required. That is, you are sat at a table and have a waiter/waitress serving you. Those people make half of minimum wage and rely on tips.

At a cash register, kiosk, or literally anywhere else, corps are just trying to see if they can squeeze a couple more bucks out of you and no one cares if you press "no tip."

How much caffeine you be drinking?

300 mg or more daily (2,100+ mg per week)

About 200 mg daily (1,400 mg per week)

So basically, if you’re someone who only drinks caffeine 3 days a week, but you’re drinking Bang, you need to do some math and pick a higher up option. For this poll you need to be drinking less than 700mg of caffeine per week to qualify for the “less than daily” option.

You know, what I think bothers me the most about media depictions of Christianity is how everyone thinks good actions are what get you into Heaven. From modern Simpsons episodes to Hazbin Hotel, there's this weird de-Jesusifying of Christianity where you just have to be a good person who didn't do anything bad.

In reality, you don't "earn" your way to Heaven by doing good things. Ephesians 2:8-9 is pretty clear about it; "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."

There's a lot of minutae about how having faith and genuinely following Christ will change your behavior and faith without works is dead, yadda yadda, but you literally cannot go to Heaven EXCEPT through belief in Jesus. It's just weird when things talking about Christianity specifically get that very basic thing wrong.

I chose 20 because in the past that has been a sweet spot to offer me enough structure to stave off the complacency that breeds depression without impeding my free time to be creative.

Understandable about LPAU (some of those creators... yikes) but CONSIDER: Hermitcraft or Live Series LPAU. It would be quite entertaining, especially considering the hermits that have kids. Or have partners that don't really do Minecraft, which I imagine would mean their lil selves wouldn't be in a relationship? (Not to mention most hermits look really different from their skins. Imagine lil Grian meeting big Mumbo and just being like "where's your mustache???" Or lil Doc being insulted that his irl counterpart just looks like Some Guy and doesn't have cybernetic enhancements)

Honestly I can't say I'm interested in exploring any of that. I got my fun out of posting LPAU back then, but I can't see myself posting much gt or fanfic in the future.
