Happy birthday to the love of my life ♥ Can't wait to celebrate with you ;)
@niallhoran:Â @camerabarbie They look incredible! You have such great taste :)
I'm glad you like them! I was trying to find something periwinkle but these are so much better. They have both of our favourite colors!
@camerabarbie: I think I found our centerpiece flowers!
Of course. As soon as you get your bridal party figured out, let me know. And if you need help with shopping for the dresses or tuxes, I would be more than happy to help.
My mum made sure I got my dress and sent it to the tailor, but we don't have bridesmaids dresses yet. My maid of honor is my sister Anita and I don't know what what Niall's doing with the groomsmen yet, but I can ask.Â
...how much work do you do on the actual day of the wedding?
It’s honestly no problem, that’s part of my job! To make your big day happy and as easy and carefree as possible.
You're very sweet, thank you so much!
Okay, whatever you want. And it’s really no problem. And then if you wanted to do a champagne toast, you could do it as soon as everyone is seated.
That sounds perfect! I can't thank you enough for helping me Eleanor, really.
Yeah, it’s whatever works for you, honestly! Many couples will have a cocktail hour before their dinner. That way, it gives everyone a chance to mingle before the actual dinner. Cocktail hour could be anywhere. It could be at a bar, the hotel meeting room, or even at the reception area. Some couples I’ve worked with have done the cocktail hour in the lobby of the building and then moved into the actual room for the reception. It’s really whatever you want, love.
I think we should do the cocktail hour in the lobby, before the dinner. That sounds fun! You're brilliant at this Eleanor, I couldn't do it without you.
Of course, whatever you want! It’s your special day.
Alright, maybe we can do a cocktail hour and then a champagne toast, and then dinner. Is that how these things work?
Lots of people do, yes. Chicken is a fairly common entree at weddings. Do you want like a full course of dinner? Like salad, bread, appetizer? Or just the main course?
We have a pretty big budget, I think we can do a full course dinner. With a champagne toast and all of that, right?
Sounds perfect. Do you have a thought on what food you would like to have? Lots of couples have chicken or some type of beef.
I think chicken is a good idea. Everyone likes chicken right?
I personally love sit down dinners, it’s just all up to preference. One isn’t easier for the other, planning wise. But when it comes down it, sit down dinners are usually much cleaner.
Okay, let's do a sit down dinner then!
Okay, I think off to the side at first looks the best. The next task is deciding on if you want a sit down dinner, or buffet.
Oh, a sit down dinner. They sound much nicer and won't it be easier?Â
Yeah, or we could put the cake off to the side and when it’s time to cut it, bring it toward the front and let you and Niall cut it. Whatever you wish.Â
You're the expert! I'm okay with anything, really. You know how to make this perfect I'm sure.
Sounds like a good plan. That leaves your options wide open. A wide open room could work, and we could place tables around an open area, that could be the dance area. And in the back, a bar could be set up. So the dance area is the focal point of the room.
That sounds perfect! And we can have a cake to the side? You make it all sound so easy.
Roberto.
Is that funny? Is it totally lame?
You're adorable, babe.
Okay, inside receptions are good. So that’s one thing done. Then you should think about what the atmosphere will be. Lots of dancing, little dancing? That will help determine the reception area.
Yes, lots of dancing! It would be fun to have a reception that goes late into the night, and an open bar, too.
