So... I got some sad news today. Actually it’s kind of shocking too. But the decision I made is tied to that so ya kinda need to know the sad thing first...

I got a call from my dad today. One of my cousins, actually the one that has lived in the States here a few years, he and his wife were killed.

Beer, got it. Sit down and make yourself at home. [he walks off for the kitchen. the living room is mostly neat though a little cluttered; there are book cases packed with books, and boxes filled with more; some model airplanes are on display; there’s a life size Legolas cut out; and it smells a bit like incense. there’s also no TV. Andrei comes in with a can of beer and hands it over, then sits down; he roots through a small box and plucks out an incense cone and lights it on the small plate on the coffee table. then he gets his cup of tea and settles.]

I’ll let you drink a bit and then you can tell me what’s going on.

[while Andrei is getting the beer, he looks around the room, noting the airplanes and the Legolas. If it was a different time, he would have chuckled quietly or commented on it but even now, a small smile tugs at his lips for a bit. he sits down and takes the beer gratefully when the Romanian hands it to him and opens the can to take a sip after taking a deep breath]
